Her mouth shifted into a smirk. “Well, I can’t very well stay dressed as I am for all that, now can I?” Her voice hinted at the excitement that was evident in her eyes.

Taking the outfit from Remy, she smirked. “Turn around.” While she was hardly self-conscious about dressing in front of him, she opted to change out of his view so that her final appearance for this simulation was a surprise. It increased the excitement of the adventure for both of them.

He feigned a look of hurtfulness. “What? It is no’ like I ‘ave never seen you naked or changine before. Oh, very well.” Slowly, he turned his back to Ayla and patieently waited.

“Alright, you can look now.” The outfit cut closely along the generous curves of her body and she had released her abundant black curls so that they cascaded over her shoulders and down her back.

A smirk played across his lips and his eyes shone with glee as he turned back to face her. “Dat was worth de wait.”

Moving closer to him, she intentionally added a swing into her step to exaggerate the movement of her hips. “Better?” she whispered as she came to stand almost close enough to press her body against him, but quite intentionally keeping space between them. Her hazel eyes glittered with anticipation.

The sway in Ayla’s hips, along with the lether outfit was almost enough to send Remy over the edge. “Sooooo much better, cher!!!” Even with the space between them, Remy could feel the heat and passion. It took every ounce of discipline he could muster not to begin undressing all over again.

Bingo! Sometimes being an empath was a trial, but other times it was entirely worth it. She smirked slightly, acknowledging the mutual feelings that needed no words.

Against his desires, he shook his head to get his mind back on the mission at hand. Taking Ayla’s hand, Remy walked to the edge of the roof and pointed toward the northeast.

Holding his hand and feeling its solidness, she trusted him in this little adventure. Taking in the sights, she tried to memorize the layouts of the streets and any distinguishing landmarks that might come up.

“About 4-5 blocks in dat direc-SHON dere is a shopkeeper dat doubles as a fence. He often ‘as some work for me. Do you know what a fence is?”

“No,” she said with a shake of her head, causing her curls shift about slightly in the light breeze.

“A fence is a person dat lappears to be a legitimate business man, but often deals wit’ stolen goods on de side. He den ‘ires someone to smuggle de goods, or ‘ires someone to acquire items dat others may be lookine to get dere ‘ands on. Dat is why some of de profess-SHON-als in de business prefer to be called an ‘acquisi-SHON specialist as opposed to a tief or crook.”

Boudreaux (acquisition specialist)

“And this man is the one who’s hired us, or the one we’re… acquiring something from, at his displeasure?” she asked.
