Dr. Hunter had stepped into medical and barely had a chance to read the briefing he had been texted before the comm came in.

=^=Hunter here, we’re very busy at the moment. The only person I can send up is Lieutenant Claire.=^= he said looking at the two ‘children’ on the bio bed.

At the mention of something else to do, Alita stood up and passed the instruments to Hunter.

“Alreight doc, here’s what I’m trying to do, these instruments might like you better anyway, run a multiphasic scan, a micro cellular scan, and cross check the transporter logs. Maybe some unknown entity mixed us all up. I’m going to the bridge.” she said picking up her medical kit and heading for the bridge.

“Do you really think you should go to the bridge in this condition? The genetic abnormalities from our cross breeding can’t be good for us.” He commented, looking down at him/her self then back at Alita.

Hunter looked from Cel to Alita.

“Are you crazy women… Girl… Um right. Scans.” he said shaking his head. Hunter had decided the bridge could deal with the mess.

  • Alita, MO/COS

“How far do you believe they have de-aged?” Greve inquired to the Doctor, “It seems about twelve years, give or take a year.” She furrowed her eyebrows, running her own scan to have something to look at, when attempting to diagnose the full extent of the issue. It already seemed there was far more wrong than just the process of becoming an age no longer their own. However, Greve did not quite understand what that might be as of the moment.

“Once we can figure out what is happening on a cellular level, we should be able to determine a proper reverse to the age portion of this issue. However, should there be something to do with an unknown force, outside of this ship, we might be a bit less apt to having an instantaneous answer to returning them to their proper state, age.. and species, it seems.”

“Anything on the microcellular scans?” Greve inquired, glancing over at the doctor, while waiting for her own to complete its course.

Doctor Shaidi

The computer showed the mix DNA but it was still scanning and recompiling the data

Hunter looked up and thought about it.

“Yes, I know Lieutenant Claire is about twenty five. Ensign Theinna is in his forties I believe.”

Hunter glanced at Cel for confirmation.

Celador nodded, as much as he didn’t like that aspect of his life, being a 40 year ensign.

“I think these scans are almost done and I really hope it’s easier to untangle than I’m thinking it will be. Given the nature of this mission I would say a host of unknown forces could be at play here but, exactly what they are will take more study.” he explained.

Dr. Hunter (NPC)

“Is anything ever easier than we think it to be?” Shaidi question, a rhetorical inquiry meant to offer a somewhat light tone to their current situation. “All right. We can look into this further when the result come in.. for right now, it seems we have an older patient to look after.”

“I am starting to feel odd anyway.” He started feel anger, anger at the situation and the embarrassment. His face started to show some anger and resentment at this situation.

“You think you are so high and mighty leaving me in sickbay so you an go to the bridge and resume your duties! Let me tell you something, I was fighting wars while you were still in diapers! If anyone should go, It should be me!” He yelled at Alita, losing control of his emotions. Then, as if a switch had clicked he started to cry.

“It’s no fair, what the hell did we do to deserve this.” he put his face in his hands, Before rolling them into a fist and hitting the Biobed. “No!” He said with anger. So much for Celador’s normally calm demeanor.

“Whoa there, Celador.” She immediately went for using his first name, both as a shock factor and a way to maintain a kindness about this whole situation. Quickly, she strode over to his bedside, standing beside him, but still keeping a viable distance. “As soon as we can figure out what is going on, we will make sure you can return to your duties, all right?” Her words were a mixture of diplomatic and stern. “Until then, the only way we can figure this out properly, is if you calm down, capische?”

Squared, who had been hidden until this point came forth in Celador’s consciousnesses. ‘Easy now, calm down, this isn’t helping’ he said to Cel, and he tried to use his own control over Cel’s body to calm him down. ’

‘I don’t need any help from you!’ Celador thought back ferociously, although he did start to feel calmer.

‘Like Hell, use your breathing techniques. Don’t make me force you.’ Squared replied

She paused, thinking for a moment as to anything that could possibly help. “Do you need anything? Water, maybe? You’ve been through a lot today.”

“I’d like to see you try.” Celador said unintentionally aloud before realizing his mistake. The fear of that mistake forced him to recognize the seriousness of the situation.

He took a deep breath, closing his eyes before turning to Shaidi, ” I’m sorry, I’m ok.” he said in a much calmer tone, his body seeming to relax.

OCC: Just going with the whole vulcan emotion outburst, similar to what Picard went through.

OOC: I’m so lost…and who is Dr. Hunter??? –Diana

OOC: Hunter is an NPC I came up with to handle the situation before we got a CMO and later, in this situation because, well, I needed something to do. :)

Catt

IC: Dr. Mantis comes through the doors of sickbay having gotten lost on the way back…feeling as if everyone left her behind. Of Corse that was just her imagination as usual. She noticed the one referred to as Cel crying and walked over to try and comfort him.
Ensign Mantis
Doctor

Greve noticed Mantis and nodded to her, motioning for her to take over, so she could go get a glance at those results.

The computer finished the results. After unscrambling the DNA of all three officers, it found remaining unidentified components. It was an anomaly. But with no point of reference, it had no way to reassemble the leftovers into the original of whatever the extra DNA material was.

GM

“Wonderful.” Greve muttered, “Hunter; come over here, would you?” She asked, finding he would be one of the better ones to bounce ideas off of, while Mantis handled Cel.

Dr. Shaidi

Hunter made his way to Greve.

“Yes Chief?”

  • Dr. Hunter (AuxPC)

“There are a few unidentified components here; after looking into the svans, I mean. Do you have any idea what they could be?” She asked, glancing over them, again.

Dr. Shaidi

Celador was trying to be a patient patient. However, being a 12 year old girl in the midst of puberty wasn’t easy to comprehend. Add a little vulcun to the mix, combined with his own desire to do something made it almost impossible. He kept trying to think of things other then his current situation, distract himself from it all. He tried by thinking about the train set he was working on in the holodeck.

‘If I put the town in the back corner, then I could put a main line track....’ He thought before Squared interrupted.

‘It’s not working.’ Squared said amused by this whole thing.

‘What’s not working?’ Celador thought back, annoyed by the interruption.

‘Oh come on, I know you want too.’ Squared replied, although Celador couldn’t see Squared, he imagined him with a giant smile.

‘Want to what?’ Celador thought back, not sure he wanted to know.

‘You know, explore your new found....’

‘Stop it, this isn’t mine. I’m not touching anything I don’t have to. I will not disrespect Lt. Alita that way.’ Celador thought back forcefully annoyed. He had to admit though, it was tempting. When was the next time he would get to experience life from the viewpoint of someone of the opposite gender?

He continued to sit there as patiently as he could, but an expression of annoyance crossed his face, the face of a young Alita.

-Cel

Hunter looked over the readings again.

“Odd, very odd. It would take a little more study but no, I don’t know what it is yet.” he said a little frustrated with himself.

  • Dr. Hunter (AuxPC)

Blood samples from the other away team appeared in the lab.

GM

“I suppose we can start here,” She made her way towards the blood samples, in order to run scans over them to compare to the current status of their impatient friends.

Dr. Shaidi

Celador was starting to get restless just sitting in sickbay while others did their duties. He needed to vent his frustrations and the holodeck seemed like a good place to go to do that. Maybe now was a good time to start learning to play the drums.
He jumped off the biobed, much harder now that he was a lot shorter, he stumbled a little when he jumped off.

“Doc, if you don’t need me right now, I need to vent some frustrations. I’m going to go to the holodeck and bang on some drums for a little bit.” He said, still catching himself by surprise when Alita’s voice came out.
