In Sickbay, the call came in:=^=Dr. Shaidi, you are needed in transporter room one, IMMEDIATELY!!=^=
Boudreaux (CO)
The staff, not seeing any on duty doctors, decided to page out. =/\= Dr. Mantis, medical emergency in transporter room 1. =/\=
GM
Leaning back in her chair at the lab table lifting her glasses to rub fatigued eyes, Lenore pushes back the microscope as she hears her name called over her com badge....her heart beats a little faster as she grabs her med kit and hurries out into the corridor and races to transporter room 1 =/\= On my may Sir! =/\=
Ensign Mantis, Doctor
=^=Coming!=^= The Doctor gave only a short response, knowing she did not have a lot of time to make more of this action. Without making much more for herself than grabbing a medical kit, she left for the Transporter Room.
Shaidi
A few minuted later, Alita walked in with Cel and the Doctor.
“Well let’s do what the Captain says. As far as what’s going on I haven’t a clue. Also, you may want to have somebody from science come here to take chroniton readings. You won’t find it in my file, ask Doctor Hunter or the Captain.” she said sitting on a biobed and putting her head in her hands.
- Alita, MO/COS
Celador sat on a nearby biobed. This wasn’t good. Getting medically probed.
‘You had better hide for a while.’ Cel thought to Squared as he sat.
‘Yep’ Squared replied and was silent.
He just stared off into nothing as he waited, worried about what the doctors might find.
-Cel
OOC: May I ask exactly what is going on, before I have a response with Greve? I have a basic idea, but want to make sure.
- Trinity
OCC: I’m sure I’ll be corrected if I’m wrong, but as I understand, when the away team, consisting of Alita, Celador and the CIO who I guess is off the roster, there was a transporter accident and the appearance of all three merged and combined and they deaged. So, Celador has the body of a 12 year old Alita with parts of Vulcan and Betazoid, same with Alita.
-Christopher
OOC: Correct. And for all intents and purposes, we’ll keep the CIO unconscious.
GM
OOC: Very helpful, thank you!!
TrinAlita was getting tired of this. Perhaps it was just the sensitivities of a twelve year old but she felt ignored and abandoned. She stood quickly and noticed the legs she now controlled were a bit bouncier than the ones she remembered at that age. Laughing, she turned to Cel in an attempt to be humorous.
“Were you always this bouncy or am I just so fed up that I’ve give us a first class adrenaline surge?” she paused and made her way to Cel’s bed, “I’m done waiting, let’s get this show on the road. You see, this is where cross training comes into effect. I’m going to attemtp to conduct all the medical tests that I can because I’d like my body back. I’m guessing you’d like yours too.”
Alita began running detailed scans of both of them trying to untangle the mess they seemed to be in.
Cel nodded and moved to get off the bed.
- Alita, MO/COS
=^=Medical to the Bridge!=^= Bryson managed to call out.
XODr. Hunter had stepped into medical and barely had a chance to read the briefing he had been texted before the comm came in.
=^=Hunter here, we’re very busy at the moment. The only person I can send up is Lieutenant Claire.=^= he said looking at the two ‘children’ on the bio bed.
At the mention of something else to do, Alita stood up and passed the instruments to Hunter.
“Alreight doc, here’s what I’m trying to do, these instruments might like you better anyway, run a multiphasic scan, a micro cellular scan, and cross check the transporter logs. Maybe some unknown entity mixed us all up. I’m going to the bridge.” she said picking up her medical kit and heading for the bridge.
“Do you really think you should go to the bridge in this condition? The genetic abnormalities from our cross breeding can’t be good for us.” He commented, looking down at him/her self then back at Alita.
Hunter looked from Cel to Alita.
“Are you crazy women… Girl… Um right. Scans.” he said shaking his head. Hunter had decided the bridge could deal with the mess.
- Alita, MO/COS
“How far do you believe they have de-aged?” Greve inquired to the Doctor, “It seems about twelve years, give or take a year.” She furrowed her eyebrows, running her own scan to have something to look at, when attempting to diagnose the full extent of the issue. It already seemed there was far more wrong than just the process of becoming an age no longer their own. However, Greve did not quite understand what that might be as of the moment.
“Once we can figure out what is happening on a cellular level, we should be able to determine a proper reverse to the age portion of this issue. However, should there be something to do with an unknown force, outside of this ship, we might be a bit less apt to having an instantaneous answer to returning them to their proper state, age.. and species, it seems.”
“Anything on the microcellular scans?” Greve inquired, glancing over at the doctor, while waiting for her own to complete its course.
Doctor Shaidi
The computer showed the mix DNA but it was still scanning and recompiling the data
Hunter looked up and thought about it.
“Yes, I know Lieutenant Claire is about twenty five. Ensign Theinna is in his forties I believe.”
Hunter glanced at Cel for confirmation.
“I think these scans are almost done and I really hope it’s easier to untangle than I’m thinking it will be. Given the nature of this mission I would say a host of unknown forces could be at play here but, exactly what they are will take more study.” he explained.
Dr. Hunter (NPC)
“Is anything ever easier than we think it to be?” Shaidi question, a rhetorical inquiry meant to offer a somewhat light tone to their current situation. “All right. We can look into this further when the result come in.. for right now, it seems we have an older patient to look after.”
“I am starting to feel odd anyway.” He started feel anger, anger at the situation and the embarrassment. His face started to show some anger and resentment at this situation.
“You think you are so high and mighty leaving me in sickbay so you an go to the bridge and resume your duties! Let me tell you something, I was fighting wars while you were still in diapers! If anyone should go, It should be me!” He yelled at Alita, losing control of his emotions. Then, as if a switch had clicked he started to cry.
“It’s no fair, what the hell did we do to deserve this.” he put his face in his hands, Before rolling them into a fist and hitting the Biobed. “No!” He said with anger. So much for Celador’s normally calm demeanor.
“Whoa there, Celador.” She immediately went for using his first name, both as a shock factor and a way to maintain a kindness about this whole situation. Quickly, she strode over to his bedside, standing beside him, but still keeping a viable distance. “As soon as we can figure out what is going on, we will make sure you can return to your duties, all right?” Her words were a mixture of diplomatic and stern. “Until then, the only way we can figure this out properly, is if you calm down, capische?”
She paused, thinking for a moment as to anything that could possibly help. “Do you need anything? Water, maybe? You’ve been through a lot today.”
OCC: Just going with the whole vulcan emotion outburst, similar to what Picard went through.
-Cel
OOC: I’m so lost…and who is Dr. Hunter??? –Diana
OOC: Hunter is an NPC I came up with to handle the situation before we got a CMO and later, in this situation because, well, I needed something to do. :)
Catt
IC: Dr. Mantis comes through the doors of sickbay having gotten lost on the way back…feeling as if everyone left her behind. Of Corse that was just her imagination as usual. She noticed the one referred to as Cel crying and walked over to try and comfort him.
Ensign Mantis
Doctor
Greve noticed Mantis and nodded to her, motioning for her to take over, so she could go get a glance at those results.
The computer finished the results. After unscrambling the DNA of all three officers, it found remaining unidentified components. It was an anomaly. But with no point of reference, it had no way to reassemble the leftovers into the original of whatever the extra DNA material was.
GM
“Wonderful.” Greve muttered, “Hunter; come over here, would you?” She asked, finding he would be one of the better ones to bounce ideas off of, while Mantis handled Cel.
