Looking around and seeing… well… not much; he tapped his commbadge. =/\= Lieutenant Petrov. NE Franklin form the Wolverine, sir. I’m here to take you back to the ship. =/\=
Franklin
=^=I’m on my way=^= Petrov answered as if it was the gallows that called.
Of course the Vulcans were no joy to spend time with either so either way it was the blank faces of the Vulcans or the lunacy of the Wolverine.
He arrived at the bay.
“Lets go Ensign. Make it a slow trip. I am in no hurry.” He said as he boarded with nothing. The Vulcans had given him some robes to wear but he left those behind and put on his now clean uniform.

“Aye, sir.” Franklin replied. He sealed the hatch and made his way to the pilot’s chair and powered up the craft.
As they rose into the atmosphere, Franklin said “Uh, sir? I was told to tell you that you need to report to the Captain as soon as we get back, sir. Just so you are aware… sir.” The Ensign was obviously nervous around the Chief Engineer, and kept his eyes glued to the controls.
Franklin
“Oh I am sure he does as well as that....XO.” Mikel said butleft out the part he really intended to say for the sake of being around an Ensign.
The Vulcan Commodore saw Lt. Petrov off. “Safe journeys, Lieutenant. Peace and long life,” said the Commodore, while holding the traditional Vulcan greeting with his hand.

Petrov sighed and gave the sign back to the Vulcan. They had, after all, been hospital to him during his brief stay.

The shuttle cleared Vulcan, and after an uneventful trip, was able to meet with the Asimov, after the Asimov had picked up its artifact related supplies.
GM
OOC: If a bridge officer wants to reply here, be my guest.
GM
OOC: Then that shouldn’t have said Asimov? Petrov is docking with the Wolverine?
D…
OOC: Sorry, that should be Wolverine. I’ve been recovering from post-COVID-19 shot effects.
GM
OOC: Totally understandable! Hope you feel better!!!

Mikel stepped out into the Shuttle Bay. He again felt the smallness of the Wolverine compared to the larger ships. He supposed he would be required to make a report to the CO or XO but he was not entirely pumped up to talk to either of them.

Kadence had been in the shuttle bay checking on a Lieutenant who had missed a counseling session. Catching him at work, she had been able to get his agreement to another appointment the next afternoon after his shift. And with too many folks around to witness it, she was sure he would make it. Coming back around the recently landed shuttle, she spied Petrov and smiled. “Lieutenant, welcome back. I am so pleased you are all right.” She resisted the urge to reach out and touch his arm in reassurance as she had planned. It was habit, but with his recent events, she wasn’t sure how it would be received. “I’m sure you have places to go, but I hope you will come see me soon. And not just because you are supposed to.” She smiled to help take the sting from the words she knew he probably wasn’t ready to hear, yet. After his ordeal, he had to see the Counselor. But she wasn’t going to waylay and order him to it immediately.
You could almost visibly see the displeasure in his face. It was as if he stepped off a transport and a sales persons approached him to sell him something. He let her talk without paying much attention.
“Perhaps we can talk over dinner, instead of making it seem clinical. If that’s all right with you? I wouldn’t mind someone to talk to, either, if you are up to listening as well.” She knew they had been thru similar incidences and she was sure that was going to come out in their talking. Might as well make him aware of it so he’s not caught off guard if she reveals something of herself as well. “Is there anything I can do for you till then?” She was being kind without being overly motherly. Just someone wanting to offer help to someone she knew was more than capable, but might like the offer none the less.
Kadence
CNSHe was about to dismiss her out of hand when it came to him. He had revenge to get on the XO and he needed unsuspecting assistance to do it. The CNS might play right into his developing plan.
“Dinner is a great idea. I would spend more time with you right now but the XO is requiring me to attend him now, even though I just nearly lost my life and have not had time to process it all. Please set the date and I will be there.” He said amicably and even smiled. He then hurriedly made his way out of the Bay.
She could not see him do it but he smiled. Indeed there was something she could do for him.

Kadence watched the expression change. It was odd, but she let it go. He had been through quite an ordeal and he did need to speak with her. The acceptance to dinner meant they could talk a bit more freely, she hoped, than merely making an appointment for her office. His saunter gave her pause, but she had been in a similar predicament of her own, once. Everyone handled it differently. Some curled in on themselves. Some went around laughing about it as if it never happened. And some, she guessed the Engineering Chief fell into the category that she fell into, went around with an air of arrogance and defiance about them like a shield. They replied to everything as if nothing phased them all was well. Their armor was their anger and rage at their failure to prevent what had occurred and, often, being madder still at not having been able to do anything about it.
She was curious how the meeting would go and headed for her office to make notes about both appointments she had to set for the near future.

CNSMikel tapped his com badge as he continued on.
-^-Computer the location of the CO and Xo respectively .-^-
Might as well get this part over and start his plotting.

=/\= The Captain and the Executive Officer are in the Ready Room. =/\= came the reply.
Computer
Mikel made his way to the small ready room of the Wolverine. He dismissed the glances toward him on the Bridge. He hit the chime to enter.

The door slid open without a sound and the CO and XO were seated as Petrov came in. Both men stood up and Reilly said “Welcome back, Mr. Petrov. Hope the trip back was less eventful than the trip away.”
Reilly, XO
Remy shot Reilly a look that indicated “be nice”, before indicating for Petrov to take a seat. “Can I offer you a drink, Lt.? You could prolly use one, no?”
Boudreaux (CO)
Mikel shot Reilly a look and then sat as the CO offered.
“No thank you Captain.” He said respectfully. “In fact the insensitivity just displayed by Cmd. Reilly is at the crux of my recent ordeal. I want to make a complaint of gross dereliction and negligence resulting to harm of a crew member directly under his command. Before the good Cmd rebuts I want to make it clear to you Sir that the Away Mission was very haphazardly managed. Even cavalier to the point of dangerous. Our covers were poorly managed by the XO and wholly unbelievable to the point we were quickly detected as frauds. There was little security mindset and when I stepped out to cover our backs, as I was getting suspicious of the actions of the tent merchant, my suspicions became very clear. I was immediately attacked and kidnapped. In fact if they could have entered and contained us all in that small area the result could have been much worse for the rest of the team.”
Petrov had a look of sincere earnest on his face.
