Alita hit the ground running… Literally. It could have been morning or evening. She had left the program deliberately ambiguous. The cooling desert spread out for miles in all directions. It was just her and the wind, one foot in front of the other, faster and faster. Sometimes she had too much energy, mentally and physically. There were many different ways she could solve that problem but this was the one that had worked for her family for more than a century. It was time to run.
