Kadence had told the others she would meet them in the lounge and scooted back to her room to see to her arm and uniform. It wasn’t long after that that the Counselor walked into the lounge sporting a short sleeved uniform shirt over a clean pair of slacks. Her upper left arm was wrapped in a clean white bandage. She could have gone to medical and gotten the full treatment to make the slight burn mark completely disappear. But it seemed silly to waste more time on it. Cleaning it off and covering it would suffice. Tomorrow it would be healed enough to be no more than a slight nuisance.

She came into the lounge and looked around for Fin and Mado, her hand reaching up to brush a stray strand of hair from her face where she’d missed it putting her hair back up in a neater bun once more.

Fin was already there, seated near the windows. She waived Kadence over and raised the glass of Rum in her hand. “I started without you. Something about this ship and crew makes me want to drink constantly.” Even though she smiled when she spoke, it still probably wasn’t an intelligent thing to say to a counselor.
