Remy looked at team and said to Kadence, “Get to sickbay and get dat arm checked out ‘fore Mr. Reilly blames me for gettine you injured.”

Stepping off the transporter pad, he moved to the NE manning the console. “NE Brundle, what is de status of de oder away team? ‘Ave dey returned yet?”

Boudreaux (CO)

“Yes sir. They have.”

Kadence was midstep as the transporter caught them and brought them back to the ship. Grateful she was on a back pad, and could grab the wall to keep from stumbling, she nodded as the Captain ordered her to medical. “Yes, Sir.” She stepped off the pad and moved to the corridor to get taken care of. She had no doubt Reilly would be upset. She just hoped it was at her and not the Captain.

The computer chirped at Captain Boudreaux’s commbadge.

When he pressed it, the computer spoke. “You have… 2 unheard voice messages due to requested radio silence. First new message from Commander Jason Reilly: ‘Skipper, you better get up here. Looks like Petrov went and got himself nabbed by a ghost.’ Second new message from Commander Bryson Erin: ‘Wolverine to Captain Bourdreaux, we’ve managed to stop the flooding in Sickbay. I know Petrov is missing, but our first plan of action is to get your team out of there as soon as possible, sir. I might be able to break into the system that houses the control for the dampening field, and if not.... I might be able to at least reset it long enough to get a lock on you all for a beam out.’ End of messages.”

GM

Remy listened to the messages and simply shook his head. A flood? In Sickbay? Petrov missing? Maybe that pain in the @$$ went AWOL, and if he did was that really a bad thing? Petrov had been wanting to transfer off the Wolverine, since the destruction of the Vanguard. Remy brought him to the Wolverine, because he was an engineering genius, but was also the first one to let you know that. The Wolverine was stuck with him though. No other Captain in the fleet wanted Petrov on their ship, even if he was the best damn engineer that ever served in the fleet.

The captain tapped his comm badge. =^=Boudreaux to Erin. I received you’ message. My first question is–what flood in sickbay?. . . .Never mind, tell me in person.=^=

A moment later, he tapped his comm badge again. This time the call went out to all senior staff..

=^=All senior staff. dis is de Captain. Report to conference room 1 in 10 minutes for a staff breifine.=^=

“Lt. LeBlanc, you’ presence is required as well,” he said looking back over his shoulder before exiting the transporter room.

Boudreaux (CO)

“Yes, Sir,” Acadia responded at the request to join the meeting.

“I presume, Captain, you’ll also want Lt. Finn and myself to join you?” asked Lt. Mado, “Probably should inform the doctor to bring a medical kit to the conference room to look at our injuries.”

GM

Remy stopped in his tracks halfway through the door. “Yes, Lt., I expect de bot’ of you to be dere, as well You’ input will be welcome.”

As he continued down the corridor, he could be heard calling Dr. Locksley. =^=Dr. Locksley, make sure to bring a medkit wit’ you. Dere are a few injuries to tend to.=^=

Boudreaux (CO)

Kadence shifted direction to head to the conference room. If the Doc was bringing a kit, she could get seen there. She needed to see Reilly and reassure him she was fine. Smiling at Acadia, she shook her head. “Lucky you. You get to listen to us brass toot our horns about how well it went.” She laughed and then grimaced rubbing her arm where the burn mark was. “And tell ourselves we are perfectly fine, of course. Don’t be afraid to speak up and add your two cents. You were part of this team. The Captain wouldn’t ask you there if he didn’t want your say. Just remember that. And don’t forget to come by my office in the next 24 hours to discuss the mission. You need to make sure you aren’t holding stress from it. It’s impossible to be under fire like that and not be affected.”

She nodded once more to the young engineer and headed off to the conference room.

Acadia nodded and laughed. “I hear those brass tooting horns all the time. Though all at once around a table should be interesting, as opposed to one on one.” When the Counselor reminded her to come get her clearance eval, she sighed. “Yes, Ma’am. Soon as I finish what I need in the meeting and in engineering. I’ll see you tomorrow, most likely.” She knew it was putting it of. But with everything going on, now didn’t seem like a good time.

(getting to sit at the grown up table … woot)

Fin entered with a mug of coffee in her hand, nodded at those already there, and found an empty seat. She made sure there was an empty one beside her in the hopes that Mado would join her. It always helped to present a united front.
