Hey everybody,

It was recently brought to my attention that there are few ships in the fleet that have a slow posting speed (5/7/10), AND accepts new members

I was asked if the Wolverine would consider switching to the slow speed, but before making a decision completely on my own as to whether to yay or nay that choice, I would like to get all of your opinions as well. As of right now, I’m going to keep my opinions to myself so as not to sway anyone else one way or the other.

You can voice your opinion publicly in this thread, but if you don’t feel comfortable doing that, please drop me an email. I will take everyone’s opinion into serious consideration. As I’ve mentioned many times before, this is a GREAT crew of writers and I’d hate to lose anybody, so please share your feelings on this issue.

Speaking as James, not as the XO, I personally have had issues with slow posting ships in the past that make me wary of them now. I wouldn’t leave if we made the switch by any means, but it isn’t something that I would prefer.

I personally don’t think this switch would mean we’d have to post at a slower rate. By all means, if someone wants to post every 3-5 days on a slow posting ship they could. The bigger picture is that we only have 2 slow posting ships in STF, and the personnel dept is having a hard time placing applicants if they request a slow posting ship.

I have never enjoyed posting on a slow ship. Sure, there is a lot of time for character development for the people that always write, but sims don’t move along like they do on a 3, 5, 7 ship. I really like this ship and am enjoying playing here, but I would prefer it stay the way it is.
