When Alita had decided on a coastal themed Christmas she had been fairly non-specific. The Wolverine had crew rom all over the place and she wanted as many of them to feel welcome as possible. The sand was soft and would color change depending on the angle of the sun, the waves were fit for surfers of most calibers, and the food was definitely abundant. Several fires were set, groups of tables were scattered along the beach, and large Christmas trees were on small rafts in the water.

As far as Alita was concerned, every each needed at least one lifeguard tower. At the moment, that’s where she was surveilling the scene and directing the last bit of setup chaos.

Remy stepped into the holodeck, still in uniform. He wasn’t here for the X-mas party. . . yet. He saw Alita sitting in the guard tower and silently approached across the sand. He climbed the tower until his face was even with her hips and smiled. “Dis view is much better dan de sunset. I could stare at dis alllll day.”

Boudreaux (CO)

Glancing a message on her console while working, she couldn’t help but stop to read it when she saw Christmas party. Her brow arched at “sex wax” hoping she was able to replicate a decent surfboard. Bikinis were not her style as she had always been a bit conservative though she was hopeful to find appropriate swimming attire, because the beach and water she just couldn’t resist. So after work off she ran to find what she needed then headed to the party excitedly. Last but not least a wide brimmed hat to help keep the sun from her sensitive skin, she didn’t want to look like a lobster the next morning.
Upon entering the holosuite she was immediately entranced by the beauty and the wind and waves. Not noticing much else as she made a bee line for the shore. plunking her surfboard up in the sand before wading into the water sitting down in the wet sand to look out to sea.

The view was truly spectacular, she loved the call of the seagulls as they flew overhead. She closed her eyes momentarily to just listen. Suddenly parched with thirst she looked back up the shore and noticed what must be the bar. As she got up she noticed the bottom of her suit was wet and sandy. She rinsed off best she could then headed to the bar and ordered a large iced southern sweet tea….

Walking back to her spot at the shore she finished the last of her tea and picked up the surf board. As she headed into the water she noticed Nobs had made it to the party, she waved at him as she began to paddle out to catch a wave.
