She cocks her head curiously and a wayward strand of her dark red hair falls across her glasses. Well ok
its actually more like a river of water so obviously she isn’t getting a physical today. She tosses her hair
as a slender finger pushes her glasses back up the bride of her nose and turns to go find the counselors
office instead. The one thing she always dreads when coming into a crew.
She easily finds the door with the name plate reading Kadence Aragon she takes in a deep breath
attempting to calm her anxiety but to no avail. Her mix of Irish beta blood coursing violently through her
veins as she reaches out and knocks timidly on the councilor’s door.

Yes, that is the answer “Morning Bright” stoped to make notes on his PADD. His head down as he typed in his notes.

She suddenly notices some one with her in the corridor. Taken aback at first glance she quickly composes herself standing straight she turns to acknowledge they’re presence. ”Well top O de mornin to ye, Doctor Lenore Mantis at yer service.” She smiled warmly taking in the alien creature still standing at the counselor’s door.

Caught off guard the Ganal’s head came up and with a tilt of head he looked back to see the black and blue uniform behind him. After the initial surprise he stood tall as the corridor would allow and truly looked back. The deep mimic bird like voice speaking “ Good morning Doctor, I am “Morning Bright”, the later coming from her com badge in please of the hard clicks and deep thrum of his native tong. “Can I be of service?” The lips on the massive head don’t move as it speaks, but the face color, lightens a few shades of green and the crest on its head lifts about half way.

Utterly fascinated with the creatures display she looked up at them wide eyed and replied. “I reckon not to be of any bother to ye was just trying to check in upon my arrival back but no one seems to be around and I can’t even get to sick bay,”s he chuckled lightly then continued. “so thank ye fer askin but me thinks me should just skitter back to me quarters fer now to unpack and settle in.”

“ No bother, Doctor.” Ash Morning Bright ducked his head to the lower corner, using the opposite upper corner fir space for his tail he turned around in the relatively narrow corridor. Stoping before the young officer he extended a clawed hand in a human greeting. Wile his meter long head tilted to one side so the fist sized eye could view her better.

A feeling of unease swept over her as the creature’s huge eye summed her up. Tentatively she reached her hand to meet his extended claw, giving him a firm shake. “Nice to meet you Mr. Morning Bright, it appears some things are quite amiss aboard ship at the moment.” She said in the form of a statement though it was more of a question.
