Petrov and the woman walked away from the group.

Once they were out of hearing range of the group, she asked him, “Everything alright? For Starfleet officers coming to Risa, you all seem somewhat more tense than usual.”

“Loose lips sink ships my beauty. Stick to what you do best.| Mikel answered. He was vain, Self obsessed and arrogant but not stupid. Of course Risans trafficked in information. They could ply it out of a Vulcan they were so good at it. Best to remain silent.

“Fortunately, I am also a professional Risian doctor, so I will have to check for those supposed signs of diseases before we begin,” smiled the young woman.

“Go for it. Your being duped my dear by my…friends. Fit as a Russian violin. ” Petrov said. which was the truth. If they thought the little joke was going to bother him they had overplayed it.

“Master Mikel, we have work to do and your presence is required” The gnal’s normally quit ‘inside voice’ booming out like a drill sergeant on a parade ground, tho unlike a humanoid it carried no more emotional content than if he had whispered.

At a lower ,decibel but still loud enough to carry. “You have until we leave the clothiers to conclude your dalliance.” Forcing his dewlap and crest up to half mast, to show his displeasure “Morning Bright” raised his head and tilted it so as to present his larger profile to the Chief engineer.

Mikel was tired of these morons. They really thought the Risians stupid. A bunch of SF personnel landing and pretending not to be SF. Heck they already knew who he was. Did they really think that no crime syndicates operated on Risa? This, what the heck was he anyway, lizard was pretending to be the merchants, or whatever they were supposed to be, leader. He had seen comedies less hilarious.

He shrugged his shoulders.

“Some other time dear. I am afraid business takes me away at the moment.” He said and released her arm as he turned to the SF group.

“Shall we play dress up?” He inquired as he walked toward them but careful not to be so close as to join them completely.

The woman sensed a changed in Petrov’s mood. “Ah, come, let me prepare a relaxing bath for you and then we can continue your previously interrupted massage,” said the woman.

Mikel admired her tenacity but the two faced lizard and three faced XO had sabotaged his good time.

“Give me your contact and I will find you later.” He said leaning in close as he turned toward her.
