Sorry for my lack of posting these last two weeks. Schhol has started and I have been busier than. . . . busy. If any of you know about special education, you know there is a boatload of paperwork that goes along with each student. I had seven new special ed transfer students added to my caseload right at the start. I have spent most nights at home after school working on that paperwork and making sure everything is in order

I teach at a small school of approximately 300 students in the middle/high school and over 10% of the population is special ed students. I just keep telling myself that I must be really good at my job and that parents want their kids in the Wild Rose special education program (at least that what I tell myself).

Anyway , things have calmed down a bit so I should be able to get back to posting regularly. Between the shingles I got in July and the start of the school year, it has been nuts!! Again, I apologize for my lack of posting over the last couple of months!!

Completely understand, Terry. I’m in education as well and it can come it fits and waves. Special Education teachers have more put on them than any of our colleagues, all for the betterment of students, but it’s a heavy load.
