A Security NE escorted Captain Reval across the bridge and to the door of the Captain’s ready room. He rang the door chime. “I will remain with you while you speak with the Captain.”
“His orders?” Reval asked. “A necessary security precaution.”

Somewhere in the conversation Reno sent a text message to appear on a device for the Captain to see, or, alternatively, not look at till later. It read, =^= Samples of oxygen, carbon, and chlorine replicated along with the food in the cargo bay. Security alerted and is on it. =^=

The Captain sent a quick message back. =^=Understood. Keep me informed=^=

As the message was received by Reno, the captains voice was heard. =^=Enter=^=

In his ready room, Jasar stood up behind his desk to greet the freighter captain.

Reval walked in, closely followed by security, who then posted himself at the far wall. “Jolan’tru Captain. It’s unfortunate we couldn’t meet under more pleasant circumstances. I must thank you for taking us in. This ship… she’s our only hope.”

Hamiclar nodded. “Jolan’Tru.” He returned the greeting. “Thank you Ensign, you may wait outside.” He gestured to the chairs in front of his desk. “Please Captain, have a seat. Can I offer you anything?” He asked as he moved towards the replicator on the far wall.
