Suddenly, the being shifted in shape, turning into a figure of darkness, constantly in flux. The occupants in the room could not stare at it for too long, as if they did, they would feel their sanity slowly slipping away. Even Leamas, with his mental fortitude did not have the strength to stand this being’s form for longer than a few seconds. Dark tendrils started to reach out, and a haunting laugh filled the room, “Oh you poor deluded weakling, that would just hasten your death even faster. Fear can be extremely powerful if used in the right way, and if you go ahead with your threat, I will show you the true meaning of the word.”
???
From her vantage point, Ylana could see everything happening, but she was careful to keep her presence visually concealed. One of the large leafy plants in the foyer certainly helped matters. She had to close her eyes and her mind was keenly aware of the power of this… being. What was going on here?!
Shari’s eyes widened, at the moment, she had no control over the situation. She had two powerful beings in the room, both that she was sure could cause quite a lot of damage if provoked too much. Her mind was wondering why the new being had not simply destroyed Leamas, but there were many reasons why it had not yet. Perhaps it was toying with him, knowing full well that it could destroy him. Maybe it was too weak to act, and just ‘puffing it’s feathers’ as it were. Either way, this was not going to end well for the evening if the guests in the other room caught wind of this.

Leamas turned away, closing off his mind to whatever being this was. Clearly it was not a Guardian. Wonderful. Not to find out the true meaning of such a creature on Oed. “Fear can also be unpredictable if stirred up in the wrong being,” he said as he strode to the exit. He was not fond of this new creature. That much was certain. But fear within Leamas tended to have catastrophic results.
Leamas didn’t look back. “When I’m done here on Oed…whatever you are…you may find yourself in a rather unfortunate predicament.” And with that, Leamas opened the door to the outside and left.
Ylana couldn’t say she was glad to see the image of Morin leave. It was too confusing for her, which was exactly why Leamas chose it.
And as he walked outside, he sent one very strong message to the one called Ylana inside.
The image of Morin’s face or the sound of his voice is what she would hear. If I had wanted to hurt people here, I would have done so without the disguise. Fascinating party. I had no idea Oed hid such monstrous creatures. Oh, and if you really would like to learn more about your ‘special’ gifts as it were, come find me. Or I’ll find you. No harm meant. You’re quite special here Ylana. And I’d rather you learn the extent of that. Think about it. We’ll talk soon.
And with that, Leamas was gone.

Well, crap, Ylana thought and snuck away from the plant slightly, though she didn’t leave yet. She wanted to see what this being would do. Instead, she communicated with her husband. Imzadi, Leamas is here but just left. But there’s another being, possibly more powerful than him here. I don’t know if anyone is in danger yet, but be prepared to get people out on a moment’s notice.

It was at that moment that Stephen entered the room, and with him, a sense of calm. As soon as he crossed the threshold of the room, the black figure dissipated into the air, leaving no trace it it’s existence, save for the troubled emotions of those there. Noticing his wife in distress, he quickly ran over and wrapped his arms around her, “Are you okay?”
Shari nodded stiffly, not completely sure what had happened. Still a little dazed by the presence of both figures, she was understabably shaken, “I-I think so.”
Meanwhile, Ylana’s arm was suddenly seized in a strong grip. Looking to the side, she would see Roze standing there, holding the woman with a strength one would not expect of her slim form. The girls eyes were hard, and her voice betrayed no emotion except for slight anger, “What are you doing here?”
