A voice barked back in the native Klingon, and B’Ghal chuckled. “You better learn tlhIngan Hol, Fire-Born. It will get you much further.” and he laughed. “He said to land. Lord Durox will meet us inside. And they will attach a tether to the shuttle. No EV suits needed.”

Bree laughed. “I guess you get to be my tutor and body guard, huh?” Shifting position of the shuttle to land, she asked. “So how do I respond to that? We would just say ‘Roger’ or ‘On approach’.” She glanced at him and wondered just how bad her accent would be and how insulting she could end up being if things were pronounced wrong.

He grinned and said “I would tell him we will land where we damn well please and that his mother was an Orion slave girl. But it loses something in the translation.” and he stood and went to the door as the shuttle settled to the ground. In less than a minute a tether had been attached and they were walking up to the mine entrance and through the atmosphere barrier.

Bree laughed. “I guess I need to learn Klingon, huh?”

As they headed for the mine entrance, she looked for Urg. She liked the idea of the place already being set. But she was a bit upset he hadn’t waited.

As they traveled through the umbilical, they came to a set of large, white, metal doors. They covered the cave entrance. On either side was a guard. Seeing B’ Ghal, they saluted and the door opened. Inside was a give of activity. Lights were being set up, atmosphere generators were running, and cables snaked across the floor and down the various passages.

A familiar female figure pushed the hustle and bustle and K’letn made her way to Bree. A not innocent smile crossed her face and she said “I was starting to think the drink had gotten to you.”
