Dinner with Isaria
Posted by Civilian Darius Zar (Head of Mining Operations) in Dinner with Isaria
: : : : : : “Just once. But I’d come here every evening if I could. But it’s not as much fun alone.” the waiter came and he ordered a bottle of Champaign and the menu, treating the waiter quite snobishly without even looking at him. One thing was for sure, Darius was blessed with a huge amount of self confidence and a healthy dash of chauvinism.
: : : : : : Which of course made him more attractive to some sort of women. Indeed quite a few female eyes were turned his way.
: : : : :
: : : : : “They say company is both the bane and beauty of human existences. Despite neither of us being human,” She glanced over at him, a smirk playing her lips, “Obviously; it would appear that the same can be said for us. Don’t you think?”
: : : : : :
: : : : : : He of course didn’t seem to notice that. He leaned forward and gave Isaria a look that, if he had the power of telekinesis, would surley have undressed her right there.
: : : : :
: : : : : “If your mouth spoke as much as your eyes did, you might have a chance at making a good diplomat.” Isaria remarked, an indescribable nature to her tone. It was difficult to distinguish whether or not she wasn’t pointing out her observation to his look, or if she were complimenting him. This vague nature was intended.
: : : : : :
: : : : : : “I am hungry.” he said with his deep baritone. He didn’t say for what though.

: : : : :
: : : : : “For what?” Isaria somewhat dared to ask, however she chose to keep a calm mind in response to his complacency. Choosing to assume he was regarding food, she did not discard the idea of things far less tangible than the sustaining meals.
: : : : :
: : : : : Isaria Thavos
: : :
: : : He kept her glance. “I’ll give you a hint. Food is second on the list. I think you are very attractive Isaria.”

: :
: : “You’re not half bad, yourself, Darius.” There was a beat between Thavos’ words, as if insinuating a change in tone. “However, I don’t believe the purpose of this dinner was to discuss each other’s aesthetics.” She referenced his original request to understand more concerning OED’s history. “Unless you can somehow tie that into culture or history.”
: :
: : Isaria Thavos
:
: Darius grinned. “Oh f§%#! history. It would be a waste of time to talk about that in the presence of such a beautiful and interesting woman.” he said.
: She was making him work for it, he thought. Oh well, he relished a nice challenge. In the end he would get her under him anyhow. He always had been curious how it would be with a blue-skin. Better than green? Hardly. Orion slave girls were the best! He wondered if her blue antennae were erotic zones for her and what he could do with them.
“You certainly have a tongue on you,” Isaria smirked towards him. Whether or not she was referencing his obscenities or his flirtations, was hard to decipher. She knew that her comment happened to be referencing the former, but that deliberately did morning play to a full extent, within her tone. In that matter, she would leave him guessing.
:
: “I have a suite two floors below only half as large as this whole restaurant, whirlpool and all. I’ve lowered the temperature to suit you already. You can have a full dinner there as well with me, afterwards. How would you feel to enjoy this ....” he waved at the view over OED “…while sitting in a Jaquzzi and getting it on with me?” his grin broadened.

: OOC: not easy playing a male arse :-D
OOC: You’re doing great! I probably shouldn’t, but his mannerisms are making me laugh. Lol!IC: “I would be more than willing to enjoy dinner with you, Darius. Here or there..” Her eyes portrayed a look of consideration, mixed with the natural ambiguity of the Andorian, who people knew only as well as she chose to often portray. Part of her wondered just what this man was attempting to do. She saw not reason in him trying to get into her pants, for their departments were two very different subjects, which had little to no correlation. At the same time, though, it was obvious that this wasn’t being done out of true attraction. Perhaps his own lust? Adventure, maybe? She couldn’t decide what it was.
“But, for what reason do you fancy getting intimate with me, hmm? I don’t have much to offer you, as our departments are like fire and ice-“ Another smirk, “As are we. Certainly you couldn’t hold that much attraction for one person, over a course of a day or two. So, why? Lust? Adventure?” She wasn’t going to make this easy, she never did.

OOC: Bump :)
Trin
OOC: Back from LOA :)He flicked one eyebrow, his mesmerising turqouise eyes holding hers. “I want to know what happens when fire and ice meet. I’ve always had a thing for the extraordinary, normal was never good enough for me and you are certainly… extraordinary. I don’t care if we fight each other during working hours, that’s just business. And it doesn’t change the fact that I want you. Obviously I wouldn’t do this if I couldn’t handle the thought of seeing you again afterwards - often. As we do both belong to the Cabinet. I can’t say what becomes of it, I only can say that I want to find out.” he said.
Then he touched a device at his wrist, and a transporter light engulfed them. They materialised in a penthouse that had the same layout as the restaurant above, but it was only one half, like a cake cut in the middel.
It was still huge and it still offered the same amazing view over OED.
It was furbished in the most luxurious way and indeed there was a whirlpool on a raised dias directly before the windows. Two platforms left end right functioned as a kind of side-table on which stood two cocktails, ready and waiting for them.“Ever had a dinner in a hot tub” he asked with a mischievious grin and started to shed his clothes utterly shamelsessly, revealing a well tanned body, well toned with muscles at all the right places and everything in abundance that a woman could want in a man.

OOC: In the other timeline Prim Zar has been killed and Darius has received the symbiont and now is Darius Zar, so whenever we are done with this thread, you can meet him… again. I’m doing my best to piss her off, it can also happen after they go at it, it’s just important for the PRSIM that she recognises a distinct difference....
OOC: Oooh! Okay. Isn’t Zar a fairly extensive symbiont/group of people, which had been about OED? Or was it just Prim, before her death? Prim was the Counselor, right? Sorry about these questions, simply trying to get facts straight! Haha
Also, welcome back from the land of the LOA. Lol!
- Trinity
IC: Mad! This man was utterly insane! Or perhaps that was normal of people in his trade? No, the Trill was most certainly psychotic. His readiness to change the mood of a simple dinner was not short of astonishing to her. Called her uncultured, but that wasn’t something she recognized to be a possibility. Maybe she was ignorant, or perhaps simply blind to the outcomes of a dinner. Had he been dropping hints towards this, the entire time? Yes, it seemed he had. And now she was curious— and annoyed. Could someone explain to me how this is possible? She thought to herself, annoyed with the complexity of humanoid emotions.
“You most certainly are of the bold variety, aren’t you?” His shed of clothing, as if it were a second skin, was complimented by the removal of her socks and shoes. Perhaps she was, unknowingly, attempting to test him, just as he seemed to be making every effort to find a way to surprise her. Or, maybe, he recognized her minute annoyance and was doing everything in his power to elevate that emotion. “And no, I never have. Despite Andorians being able to handle such sweltering temperatures, I don’t believe you will find many daring enough to test the limits of their own comfort— scratch that, the limits of their atmospheric comfort.”
Unlike most women, Thavos did not blush at the removal of his clothes, she merely tilted her head slightly to one side, an eyebrow perching upon her forehead, as her eyes remained trained on the features of his face. Most notably, the emotions that swarmed within those gorgeous- Don’t think that, Thavos! For all you know, he is some forsaken telepath. She grumbled, mentally, tugging at the tie on her wrist, to pull back her hair. Not that it would be all that surprising with this man.

HoECOOC: Yes, the Zar symbiont has a long history on OED, all played out real time IC, that’s what makes this so special, here’s the bio: http://juliak.de/stf/bio-zar.html
OOC: Thanks!
IC:
He smiled a sly smile as he sensed her approval more than saw it and sauntered to the hot tub, slowly stepping into the bubbles. His turquoise eyes never left hers.
“It’s called hot tub, but I lowered the temperature for you. And yes, I like being bold. Life is too short for timidness or doubt.” he said in his deep timbre, his eyes watching her with a hint of eagerness. “But that should be your second nature too, as an Andorian, right?”
- Darius Brand
He was not wrong, Andorians were creatures of bold nature. They took any and all chances to live life to the extent which they see fit. Unfortunately, for the Andorian in context, such choices could result in imbecilic and well-deserved consequences, most of which, were not friendly, by any terms. Isaria was not immune to the rebellious nature of her people, as she worked each day to attempt to subdue it. However, the attitude still painted her eyes in a fierce grey storm.
“I don’t know if one would call us bold, or brash.” Isaria remarked, a faint smirk playing her lips at the thought. She removed only the top layer of her clothing, and nothing more, following him into the tub. Of course, Andorians could withstand near-boiling temperatures, or that of sub-zero, but what didn’t mean they particularly enjoyed being on the brink of the boiling point of water. Honestly, who would be?
“But for Trills?” Her smirk was unwavering, as the feeing of the water left her contemplating whether it was pleasant or downright revolting. “Your society seems so organized and strict. Are you certain it is in your nature to be so bold? Or are you just the type who likes to tell rules to ‘f@$! off?’”
Isaria Thavos
HoECHis eyes were very appreciative of what she revealed. “Maybe not in Trill nature, but in mine. I have had to hold back most of my life, and now I’ done with that.” he said, a shadow crossing his face.

OOC: Did you just go into the water with a skirt? :-)
OOC: Haha! No, I mean top layer.. undergarments left, as in underwear and such. Whoops! Should have been more descriptive on that one. :)
IC:
Her eyes scaled his body, searching for any indication of a life beyond riches. She generally didn’t have much respect for those who had lived a life of simplicity, and favour. Finding they held a certain vain nature, due to having everything handed to them. And, with his charming albeit slightly arrogant ways, she did not put it past him to be someone who had lived such a life.
“Hold back? Was someone keeping you in a cage?” Her words were a double entendre, meaning both mentally and metaphorically. Settling into the water, she found its nature to be debatably comforting. After all, water had a funny way of being as equally terrifying as it was beautiful.
