OOC: Here we go. Opening it up. I will wait for feedback but no too long because I want to kick it off at least.
IC:The sun was just rising on the small island. The beach was white sands and the water beautiful blue that was clear to the bottom like looking through beautiful aquas and blue crystal. Just the small distortions caused by the refraction of the light as it hit the water. As if things were slightly off kilter and moving but serene at the same time. This island was only about 1 kilometer in diameter and as far as could be seen from any point was ocean expanse. The only structure visible was a large beach home sitting on a hill just 200 meters off the beach. The new sunlight hit the white and blue trimmed home giving it that rising from the ocean look and feel. A lone presence of man in an otherwise void of sand, palm trees and ocean. There was a walkway from the beach and up to the house. It was a rather large looking home and looked to have 8 or more bedrooms inside. No lights were on but some exterior lights were. Obviously there was a power source somewhere but it could have been solar only.
Inside the home one would find an expansive great room area with a pool table, bar etc..A very large kitchen, spa in one area of the home, mud room etc..The colors were all soft blues, whites and other pastel like colors. An inviting for sure beach getaway. In each of the rooms was a casually dressed person, presumably fast asleep on a comfortable bed.
OOC: Ok here is the setting so far. Please give me feedback at this thread so I can go forward.

OOC: BUMP . Anyone want to be waking up in a nice beach house?
Sidney
He woke up. Looked around and noticed no one was around him. In fact he was all alone on a big sofa in what looked like a very nice old style house he had seen in pictures. Then he realized he did not know what pictures his mind was referencing. Looking around he noticed this was some type of great room. Maybe even a social area of the home. The colors of the room were light and there was a large glass window looking outward. He tried to get up fast but seemed dizzy. It passed quickly and he managed to stand. He walked slowly to the window and could see a beautiful beach outside. A beach house? He looked down at his clothes. He was in a light blue button up shirt that was half buttoned, khaki shorts and no shoes. Looking back around he found some shoes, that must be his, next to the sofa. They were white and what would be normally referred to as boat shoes. Not needing them at the moment he stumbled toward a mirror near what was obviously a bar in the corner of the room.
As he neared the bar he saw that there were several glasses out. Some appeared to have been drank out of. When he reached the mirror he realized that he had no idea, or recollection of his own reflection. How odd was that? Staring at yourself and not exactly knowing it was you. Obviously it was him but usually you did not need to recognize yourself in the mirror. You already knew your own reflection well. How much had he drank last night? Was he alone and where exactly was he?
Character # 1
OOC: Honestly, didn’t know this was the thread from the OOC until I spotted this. I figured you were still working out the background stuff and if there was a link in the OOC, I might’ve missed it. Sorry about that.

IC: Valkris stirred. She groaned as she stood upright, her lashes blinked away the sand. Salty air breezed in through the open window. The light blue curtains fluttered causing her to jerk. After a moment to settle her emotions, Valkris took stock of her surroundings.
The theme reminded her of an easy going beach. Light blues mixed with whites and tan colors. Her bed seemed to be made of drift wood, the dark color clashing with the lighter pastels. A small headache throbbed in her skull causing her to brush the thoughts away.
With great effort, she pushed herself upright. Her feet took her to the doorway, and she slowly edged out to look around.
“Hello, is anyone there? I think I’m a bit… lost?” Valkris’ eyes scrunched as her loud voice seemed to worsen her headache.

OOC: I know your using a name for identification purposes but just fyi remember that no one has a memory of who they are.
Sidney
OOC: Noted, it hasn’t clicked with her yet and when someone asks her for a name… she’ll come up with a blank. Now to wait for others to post.
-Janice B.
OOC: If no one else post don’t worry. We can split up some other characters and rp them ourselves. It wont hurt the mystery.
Sidney
OOC: This is bound to be interesting. I won’t be using a character that I have, if that’s ok. But I’ll probably need some guidance in this one when he knows his name and what not. I have some basic idea of what he would be like. Should we message you our thoughts on our characters, Sid?
IC: Another man awoke in a circular room, the sound of water distantly lapping the shore he believed. He sat up, his shirt hanging on one of the posts of the bed. His black shorts were on, thankfully. He pushed the covers off of him and stood up groggily. The beginnings of a fresh beard shown in the mirror, his emerald green eyes reflecting light from the sun shining inside the room.
Then something caught his attention. The covers were mostly spread out, which made the lump on the other side of the bed all the more out of place? Had he drank too much? Was there a woman in the bed? Come to think of it, he couldn’t remember much, if anything. He whipped around, curious about who or what lie underneath the covers.
-Unknown man #3
OOC: The way this works is that I will prompt memories that are crucial to the plot in each character. None of which will change how you develop your character but don’t get upset if the person your character thinks they are does not match who they might actually be. That way you can develop them as you like but each one will have a predesigned back story that I will give them in order to match the plot and clues etc…

Character 1 heard noises. He was most likely not alone. It appeared to be a big house with a lot of rooms so not being alone was obviously most likely. Still he did not want to say anything. He had no idea who could be there. He actually just had no idea. He knew things about the world around him. He was a Federation citizen bu that was about it. He could tell you what any Federation citizen could tell you such as there was a SF, Klingons, Romulans etc..but any personal details about himself were missing. Was he a SF officer? That did not feel right but it also did not feel wrong.
It was then he heard a door open or it sounded like a door. Should not it had been a swoosh. Obviously the design here was old school with doors and hinges. He edged toward the hall that seemed to be the access to a lot of other rooms. At one point the floor creaked. Damn he thought. Real hardwood?
Character #1
At the same time a man in his 50s wearing loose trousers and a blue button up shirt had awaken and he himself was experiencing the same feeling of not knowing things he should know. As he stood shoe less, in the room he had awoken in he heard the creak of a door and what sounded like the a floor creaking too.
Character # 2
He had no idea who he was, or why he had been here. Hearing noise coming from elsewhere, he left his room and entered the hall, calling out to anyone. “Hello! Anyone else here?” He was tense, unsure of what to expect. Could he fight? He had no idea. He would give it his best shot if it came down to it though.
-Unknown Man #3
OOC: Using #3 since I see 1 and 2 are used. Just trying to make sure I differentiate.
