Amelia had finished speaking with the Governor and moved onto the next meeting with the Lt. Governor. She understood that he was Star Fleet and she was a civilian, so she wondered what on earth he could want with her, but she soon found herself standing in front of Parker’s door and rang the chime and waited for him to respond.

The Lt. Governor himself pressed the button to open the door and stood in the doorway as it opened.

“Dr. Barnes. Thank you for coming so soon. Please come in.” He said as he stepped back and aside to let her pass. He indicated with his hand toward his desk and the chairs in front of it. Like many SF commanders his desk was a glass sleek design with the terminals inside and dormant unless he activated them. The chairs were the black ergonomic sleek type as well. All clean lines and professional.

Xavier rounded the table and waited for Barnes to have a seat before he took his.
