A tall man in a dark coat and red tie entered the Central morgue of the Sacred Heart Hospital. Pointed ears, Black Irises and dark spots coming up his neck and to his ears showed his multi-special nature. The man flashed his badge and was shown through to the Medical Examiners Office. After a moment he was greeted by the ME. “Afternoon, I’m Detective Chief Inspector Pangolin from the Special Crimes Unit. I’m inquiring about the autopsy of case-file 221-AG, Judicial murder victim.” He spoke with a slight Oedvian accent.

OOC: Is this a different autopsy or the one Longstreet and Karlson was going to?

OOC: Different one (involving my PRSIM) which I will have those details up here in the next day or so. Just trying to post what I can in the next few minutes.

Longstreet was in the area anyway for the last autopsy so he dropped in on this one.

“One of mine or the Top Cop’s Dr. ” He told the pathologist.

Longstreet COS

The Chief Inspector turned around to face the Commander “This would be mine, Commander Longstreet” His tone was friendly, he’d known the Commander for a good while now “Strictly civilian, but you are welcome to join as always” Pangolin turned back to the Examiner and waited for the report.

DCI PAngolin

A tall half Klingon half Betazoid woman with small rides on her forehead and nose and her dark sunkissed hair down around her shoulders walked in dressed in a black pants suit and heeled boots from being in a meeting. Normally she would have been in sctubs like the rest of her doctors but the higher ups liked their professional atire and she had no reason to atagonize them…yet.
“Good evening detectives, good to see you are working together. I thought I might have a jurstiction fight on my hands,” Linarra said with a grin but reached out to shake their hand. ” I’m Dr. Linarra Riccio Head of Medical and Social Services. Thought I would come down here to speak to you both personally once I heard you were in the building. Is there anything I can do to help with your investigation?” Linarra said with a her watered down Betazedodian accent.

The tall mixed man shook her hand with a polite smile “I’m Detective Chief Inspector Pangolin for Special Crimes, this is Starfleet Security Chief Longstreet.” His eyes shared her Betaazoid blackness “I’m here investigating case-file 221-AG, Judicial murder victim.” He put his hands in his coat pockets with a half smile.

“I’m here hoping it is his case so I can move on.” Longstreet said only half joking.

The young dark haired examiner looked to and fro between the newcomers. “Seems we have a lot of interest in this case…” she said more to herself than to anyone in particular.

“Ready?” she inquired.

Once they were set, she pulled the body out to be seen. “I will warn you, it is not pretty.” The body was covered in bumps and many bruises. The face was nearly unrecognizable from what it likely looked like before.

“Massive amounts of internal bleeding, scarring of the lungs, and multiple counts of cancer. There’s no real way for us to pinpoint what the leading cause of death was, as the body is so badly mutilated that it simply isn’t possible to tell which was the end of it all. But I think the one thing I found most interesting was this.” She brought out a small sample of tissue neatly contained in tubule. “I analyzed the genetic makeup of the body. It helps us determine whether it was actually one person and not another. The DNA is actually broken and mutated. I can’t determine for certainty this who we think it is. But, upon realizing this, I did some research and do you know what I found?”

She let the others make some guesses before she ultimately revealed what had happened to the poor man.

“I’m hoping not much and that this is a clear case of death by natural causes.” Longstreet said knowing this would not be the case. A genetically mutated person was getting way too close to a possible SF security concern for him. He really wanted Pangolin to earn his pay today.
