Conrad stared blankly back at the question. “Gee, I wonder, would scientists and engineers just come on their own accord, or would they perhaps have brought some gear or personal belongings? Of course they brought things with them! All sorts of things. They are after all uprooting their lives for awhile to help with the second dome building. Perhaps if you are looking for something specific I could enlighten you?” he inquired curiously.

“Anything beyond personal belongings. Complex equipment, chemicals. The kind of things that are probably available in the laboratory they’re moving to work in, but for some reason they brought their own.” One would think that is obvious. Threatening things. Not sweaters.

All cargo has been unloaded, so if you’re looking for something or someone specific, perhaps you may want to check the docks.” Conrad eyed the man, waiting for more potential questions. He’d answer what he could, but he was calm. Nobody, and he knew that nobody, could waltz into his ship. Not with Katrina aboard.

Nicholas didn’t have time to arrange a search. His connection with Starfleet security was tenuous given Longstreet’s past. Civilian police would need some sort of warrant.
