After saving the SB from massive casualties the Captain took it easy in his office. It had been exciting, scary and surprisingly exhausting. Genevieve wanted to talk afterwards. she was both angry and excited about how she had been plucked from her quarters right into a life and death situation not only for her but for everyone. However Xavier rebuffed her. Her energy just reminded him he was getting older. He was tired and relieved it was over. He took the actions he took not for anything personal. It was what had to be done. So he did it. Again he felt isolated and alone even though he was surrounded by thousands of people on the Star Port.

Xavier ended up back on the Centurion. No one else there this time. He sat in the Captains chair and swiveled it slightly back and forth. He was not even thinking of anything in particular.

After a few seconds the face of his Mom appeared and the back of his father a few feet away in their home. His home. They were older now but he always felt like a child when he called them.

“Hi Mom and Dad. Time to talk?” >He asked and then commenced to talk to his parents for over an hour.
