Tyra smiled “Well, SF IT has a tech coming out next week. So they are the ones installing stuff. I trust that he will know what he is doing.” She said “As for living outside of SF…good luck. I think people like us eat, sleep and breathe SF, no matter how hard we try to break free.” She said

“I´m afraid your probably right.” He said and then smiled. “What to do then. Accept it or fight it?”

“Tell me Lt. When is the last time you went on a date?” He asked.

Tyra had to actually think about that “Ummm. 6 years ago. Maybe?” She said “You?”

“Been on a couple and found a way to screw them all up.” He answered. “You have been here so long and other than work I really don’t know you. I mean any good friends here on Oed?” He asked.

Tyra laughed for a moment “Not really. I seem to find that work is more important than friend. I am not very good socially, so I tend to stay to my self a lot of the time. ”

¨Careful Lt. SF is a thankless lover. Always taking but never giving back.¨He said knowing all too well the truth of it.

Tyra laughed “I know, she is a thankless lover.” She said “I have thought about doing more social activities, however have found that most of the folks I know, like to spend time at the clubs and that just doesn’t interest me.” Tyra added “What about you? Are you into the club scene?”

“No.” He answered. “Can you imagine the look on the peoples faces if I walked in.”

“No I like to watch old movies and adventure a little when possible. Though here that is not easy. Living under a dome and all. Give me a starship and a star to point her to.”

Tyra nodded “I understand that. However, you may not get the looks you think you will.” She said “Why don’t you take out one of the ships at the dock and see what adventure you can find on occasion. I’m sure that we could make that happen.” Tyra suggested.

“Yes well that is a consideration. It’s hard to take out the Centurion for a adventure but I might look for something less conspicuous and do that. Your welcome to join.” He added.

Tyra smiled “I’ll join you, you decide when you want to go and we’ll go.” She said “I’m sure that we can find something to do, even if it is to go out and look at the outer part of the dome and make sure that there are no problems. ” Tyra added
