Halai stepped onto the bridge and looked round before turning to Conrad. “Whomever might join us on the surface. Obviously the three of us”-she gestured to herself, Valkaris and Rob-“and I believe you want to go down,” she said with a keen knowing.” If there is anyone else who could possibly beam down, even just to visit for a bit of R&R while we are there, I would recommend they attend too.”

Before Halai turned around, he ensured to take a steadfast look at her more curvy assets. But of course he did this after Valkris left the lift as well, thus securing the inability to notice Conrad having taken a quick look at her as well.

He quickly brought his eyes back to their level anticipating a quick turn around.

Valkris allowed Cosgrove take the lead since this journey was her idea. Casually the security officer observed her surroundings while she stepped into Cosgrove’s wake, her steps crisp and purposefully. They finally arrived at the bridge while the captain gestured them inside, addressing Cosgrove’s intentions. When it was mentioned Valkris would join them, she nodded to confirm Cosgrove’s assumptions as truth.

“You assumed right,” Valkris verbally stated.

Her arms were pulled behind her back but they rested loosely with no hidden intentions.

Conrad nodded holding his eye contact with Halai with the briefest hint in his mind of how positively scrumptious....

And he recovered to the present before things got out of hand. Truth be told, he was in good control.

“It may be wise to have the new doctor and another of my crew join, just to be safe?” He inquired.

Halai inclined her head. “If you like, I have no problem with it, for the most part. As I mentioned at our first meeting, everything about this is personal, so it would do everyone well to remember that. Also, as I will explain n more detail at the meeting, my people are technologically savvy, but use it discreetly. To most outsiders, Tyrellia seems… quaint, even primitive. But I assure you its people are very intuitive and intelligent. Don’t bother trying to be too evasive. They’ll know it in two seconds. Be open and honest and don’t dissemble.”

“I’ll do my best to respect your journey and be honest, but openness isn’t well practiced in the Klingon culture,” Valkris decided to touch upon the point when it was brought up. Mostly because it would be uncomfortable for her to be fully frank with complete strangers. She hoped it would be respected that not all races were open and willing to share everything like Betaziods.

For the most part, she could be honest and truthful when it was important to a conversation. However, admitting limits or pain were often seen as weakness among her father’s now deceased family. Since much of her childhood was spent on Qo’noS among Klingons, she had learned sometimes suffering in silence was better than allow herself any weakness. In the end, she hoped it would be respected rather than cast aside.
