Akem had finished finalizing all of his work on the Black Sparrow. Prep was done. All he needed to do now was wait for the crew to get a quick exam. Akem was not an officer in Starfleet, so he had time to specialize in a business. Given his unique abilities and his desires to see people well and healed properly, he was able to work in several different areas of medicine and therapy. Yes, he knew the basic medical nurses work and was working on other areas of becoming a full fledged doctor. But he also was a good counselor and from what customers had shared with him, an excellent masseuse. A good massage was an excellent way to relax and release stress. It was his idea that out of everything out there, stress was certainly a killer.

He looked at his new medical display as he went about learning the new systems involved.

A few minutes later, Halai stepped in quietly. She said nothing, but simply observed Akem for the time being. It was, in a way, a way to assess him, but she was also trying to figure something out about him. There had been something tangible that had passed between them when they had touched hands it had been a very interesting jolt to her senses. Her korsiolo was also flaring brightly while in his presence once again.

Akem could sense her presence, but allowed her a chance to observe him. He had nothing to hide after all. He looked over the displays, accessing what he could have available of the medical knowledge he needed.

He eventually turned about and smiled at Halai. “Here for your quick lookover I presume?” he inquired with ease.

Her lips quirked into a small smile. “Well, you had asked so nicely, so I figured I’d tend to it sooner rather later. I hope that’s alright,” Halai replied, moving closer.

Reaching a biobed, Halai’s hand ran along it a bit and then she slipped on up easily, her body showing its strength in the simple movement. She then sat upright with an air of serenity.
