Tyra walked into her office carrying a cup of coffee, a messenger bag and several padds in her hands. She had worked late the night before in her quarters and came over with some upgrades that she had received in her email from Star Fleet Corps of Engineers. They seemed to be pretty straight forward but she would have plenty of time throughout the day to apply the upgrades. She began working on preparing the systems that would be upgraded.

An unexpected visit from the Lt. Gov happened then. He walked into the office area and politely waited to be recognized. Several officer snapped into attention but he waived them on with a polite “Just visiting. Please as you were.”

Which was an actual military command to carry on your duties without them needed to recognize his authority and stop.

Tyra looked up and stood up “Lt Governor. How can I help you?” She asked walking around her desk “Excuse the mess.” She said “Brent, take Steven and go work on the computer core upgrades. They are on the two data padds I just gave you.” She said “Please have a seat sir.” Tyra said moving padds off one of the chairs.

“I’m visiting that’s all Lt.” He said as he took a seat. “How are things?”

Xavier was actually just visiting. He wanted to make more of an effort to see his people. especially those who had been here a long time.
