It was the first time that Mike or Revna were having someone important from the colony visiting their new home. Caitlyn had had Governer Hyrushi here, but they had kept that very quiet for Caitlyn. She had been nervous enough. They had had Hyrushi over because Caitlyn had invited him, and so they hadn’t made a big deal about it.

Revna was hoping to keep this visit the same. Lady Duroc, Dr. Jal’na, was coming as a medical professional. She had only told Kirsten because she was the clan’s doctor. She didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. Nothing was wrong with Revna. She just wanted to complete her physical therapy that had never been finished adequately. Really, she was looking forward to it.

Grul pulled the slider up to the check point at the edge of the McKenzie-Edman land. It was vast and stunning the amount of life on the once barren planet. They went through the process of being cleared. They had no weapons, something that drove her security crazy, but she refused to have them when she visited patients. It had been non-negotiable for her. Everyone Urg had assigned to her, was more than capable without a weapon.

The slider came to a stop amid something that looked similar to the small village she’d grown up in. There was a blacksmith, live stock, fighters training, and a huge central house. She stepped out and was greeted immediately by Revna. “Revna, how are you feeling after our last session?”

“A bit tired the next day, but in a good way. I’ve been doing the exercises you gave me.” Jal’na was there to see what Revna did all day and help her find ways to complete the work and make herself stronger. So she took Jal’na through a typical day of what she did. Jal’na made several suggestions and corrections to how she was doing things. Before she left, she gave Revna several different exercises to do.
