The Bolian in the gold beaded dress across from them gave a friendly smile. “I’m Gan. Don’t mind me, I’m just here to make sure Uvie doesn’t get into too much trouble.”

Uvie grinned and leaned in towards Kira with a conspiratorial gleam. “See, and I’m of the mind that every moment is an opportunity to learn.”

When Yenari arrived with her drink, she accepted the mai tai. “And how about one of those Eclipse drinks I saw on the menu for my friend here.”

Kira smiled at Gan as she scooched in next to Dasca, she flushed a little pink and then looked to the table. “Nice to meet you Gan” she said. She was excited about the drinks they were all so emotional and fun. She took a sip and her eyes rolled into her head for a momment. “Ohh that’s not....mm.. right” she noted. “Here” she said holding the micro straw to Uvie, “You have to try it!” she said

Uvie grinned and rather nonchalantly leaned over to Kira and sipped from the straw. It took a second but there was a mellow feeling that washed over her and she couldn’t say she minded. “Mmm, that’s very good. And you’ll find the drinks here are very different than any place even I’ve been before, and I’ve been to a lot of places.”

Kira smiled she let out a little laugh, “So I have figured out, Mr Thalen game me a drink just before I went on, I thought i was going to, well lets just say I was not expecting it ” she giggled. “Are you enjoying your night?” she asked.

Uvie grinned. “Oh, I most definitely am. It’s had a few interesting quirks, but it’s been quite some time since I’ve bene able to get out and let loose like this.”

“Are you enjoying your time on the colony?” she asked Kira.

She frowned a little. “I am but” she paused, “I dont really know anyone, so after the first week im kinda of bored. ” she said taking a simp of her drink.

Uvie smiled and nodded. “It takes time and you have to put yourself in a position to meet people, like you are right now,” she aid, nudging Kira with her elbow. “How long are you here for?”

She leaned in nudge uvie a little, “I don’t know actually, I was supposed to be here for the next few months, but ” he paused. “Mr Kirell has made me an-offer, to be the house DJ. ” she smirked. “Pay for everything, He’s made it very hard to refuse him” she noted.

Uvie chuckled. “He has that way about him, doesn’t he?” She turned her head to gaze very intently at Kira. Though she was still relaxed and having a good time the way Uvie was wont to, a little of Eela’s measured wisdom crept in. “But the question is, do you want to stay? Just because it’s an amazing offer, doesn’t mean it’s a good one for you. You don’t have to say yes if you don’t want to.” She remembered what it was like to be young and not wanting to waste opportunities. It was easy to say yes to everything in the moment and not take the time to think about what made sense for yourself and your future.

She looked at her, she had not expected a stranger to take such an interest. “I don’t know, I really can’t go home, and the money is good, the colony is amazing.” he grined. “It’s all perfect, and maybe that’s what is giving me pause” he said taking a sip off her drink. “Ugg you don’t want to listen to me droning on about my little problems.” she noted. “I’m sorry.”

Gan almost broke into a smirk and she could feel the agent’s amusement. Eela couldn’t feign disinterest without serious effort and reason. She cared about people and always would. “Not at all,” she said, sipping her drink and giving Kira another gentle nudge of her elbow. “The way I see it, we’re just having a real conversation about real things. Just because we’re at a nightclub, doesn’t mean interactions have to be superficial. Trust me, it’s not worth it. Besides, in a former lifetime I was used to people telling me the challenges they were dealing with.”

Kira smiled and bumped Uvie’s shoulder, “You sweat.” she said taking another ship. “I have about 10 minutes before my next set, tell me a little more about what you do?” she asked

This is where she had to be careful, at least for the moment. She didn’t want most of the people here to know she was in government work, because it inevitably moved conversations in directions she didn’t want to go. “It’s complicated, but the best way to describe it is project management. I liaise between different group to make sue things happen in the time frames they need to. It can be very stressful, hence why I needed a night out,” Uvie said with a wide grin.

Kira looked down and took a drink smiled. “Well, I hope I can help with that. Want to dance?” she asked

M’Lene had remained mostly silent for the evening, fascinated by the furious exchange of conversations and bustling atmosphere. She felt a little out of her comfort zone being used to a much calmer environment but there was something exhilarating about the atmosphere that drew her in.

Purring softly she leaned across the bar towards Kirell. “So, what would you recommend for a precocious feline looking to let her fur down?” She asked with a wink.

Tamsen smiled and new drink in had, her fire red hair swishing about her shoulder as she moved a little to the sides to the music. “Wanna go dance?” she kinda asked grabbing her by her paw and dragging her to the dance floor. “I imaging Catians are great dancers, you are so grace full” he said.

Jewel stood nervously in line at the night club she was about midway and hoped Karina would make it because she certainly did not want to be her alone. a spaghetti strap from fitting red dress hugged her athletic form leaving very little to the imagination the mid thigh stop left just enough mystery between it and the knee high stalking’s and high heals she was wearing. She stood waiting, hoping to just have a few hours of fun with Karina, like they did at the carnival.

Karina was running just a few minutes behind. As the slider wove through the city she sent Jewel a message. =/\=On my way. Just a bit late. Be there soon Beautiful.=/\= The slider pulled over about a block away. Karina got out and headed toward the line, scanning for Jewel. she was wearing a strapless black silhouette dress that stopped at her knees. Her hair was pulled up in a messy French twist, letting a few curls hang down.

She spotted Jewel and smiled as her heels clicked across the sidewalk to her date for the evening. “Hello Gem.”

Jewel smiled as she approached and let out a big sigh, Karina looked hot. Her pulse quickened as she spoke. Taking her by the hand and pulling her into the line next to her she took her palm and gave it a kiss. “Hello Beautiful” she said. “Maybe a wait this place is packed, we can go somewhere else if you want?”

Karina slipped an arm around Jewel’s waist. “Nope, we are going in. I mean I could try flashing the fact I’m a cabinet member, but I really do not want to do that. And if you get cold standing out here, I will warm you up.” She leaned back just a bit, “By the way you look amazing.”

Jewel smiled, every time they spent time together it just made her want to spend more time with the woman. She knew she was falling hard for her but she did not trust herself to recognize if it was right or just a set of for another failed relationship. She put her arms around her in a low hug. “Warm is good” she said. “I hear this club is really cool and there is a guest DJ from earth” she said as the rounded the corner to the front of the building.

Karina tugged her Jewel closer by tugging her hand as the walked. “Then we will wait to get in. It will be worth the wait.” If Jewel wanted to go, then they would go. She was excited for this. Karina would wait all night to get in if they had to do so.
