Alston stepped off the secure transporter pad from the Government Tower into the CIA Headquarters. While he didn’t mind walking or taking a slider back and forth, time was of the essence here. And one of the perks of being Director, access to the secure transporter network.

For now though, there were questions to ask, and hopefully get some answers out of what they were able to find out from their suspect. As he passed through the CIA control center, he stepped into his office, and tapped the secure communications terminal.

=/\= On my way. =/\= came a reply after a few seconds. It took the Deputy Director a little more than five minutes to arrive, but he did and walked into the office, allowing the door to slide close behind him. “Director.” he said with a half-grin, knowing that Mace had little use for titles. He took a seat in front of the desk and said “You know, when I came into the office this morning I said to myself it had been too quiet lately.” and he chuckled. It had, in fact, been anything but quiet.
