M’Lene sighed as she looked at her map for the third time and tried to work out where she was. She had of course looked at all the schematics before arriving but she hadn’t quite realised how massive the place was. Her village back home was probably less than quarter the size of the vast complex and in the few days she had been on Oed she’d had to ask for directions multiple times. Sighing she meandered round the next corner and breathed a sigh of relief as she saw the hospital in front of her. Not that she was particularly looking forward to being peered at and prodded but she just wanted to get it over with now.

She strode through the doors confidently and made her way to the reception desk. Instinctively smoothed her fur, M’Lene gently cleared her throat and smiled at the receptionist. “Um, excuse me? I’m M’Lene, I’m here for my physical and psychological examinations…” she asked hesitantly, half hoping that they were too busy and she could put it off for another day.

The receptionist smiled. “Of course we can. If you would fill out these forms, or if you have your medical records with you, I can get you put in for the next appointment in 20 minutes. Will that work?” she asked handing M’Lene a PaDD to fill out.
