Emersyn stood in the middle of the home that she and Henrich had lived in since they married. She was surrounded by boxes and boxes and more boxes. There had already been two loads sent to her new assignment. There were still what seemed like a million more to go. They had been packing for what seemed a year. The final boxes would be finished before she and Henrich went to bed. The kids had been helpful in packing their rooms and toys and personal items. She had only had to repack one of the boxes and that was simply because it was far to heavy for anyone to handle.

Henrich arrived home from the markets, and looked around “Will we be ready tomorrow when we have to go to the shuttle station?” He asked after kissing Emersyn on the cheek. Emersyn nodded “Yes, we’ll be fine. I already have suitcases packed and most of our stuff will be there when we arrive.” She said returning his kiss. The kids were finishing up their school day and would be arriving shortly.

Their Belgian Malinois came over to get in on the attention. Arnie was 1 year old and a bundle of energy that wore the kids out on a regular basis and he was still rearing to go. Fortunately, she had been able to aquire a home on OED with a yard, they would still need to take Arnie to the park or something similar but she was certain that they would be able to manage it.
