Alston settled back in seat of the Company slider that had been sent to pick him up. While he had enjoyed getting the chance to wander around the city and get to know more, he did still have a job to do. As the slider pulled away from the curb, he reached out and tapped on the display, opening a connection back to a tech at the CIA HQ.

=^=Yes Director,=^= came the reply as the screen shifted to the colony logo as he waited for the connection to be established.

It took a few minutes for Pangolin to get to the Secure Communications Room of the MCD headquarters. He sat in the small room across from a console, his notebook and pencil in front of him ^=Pangolin here=^=

Alston was looking out the window of the slider, going over his meeting with the Ambassador in his head when there was a soft beep from the display before the connection was established.

=^=Detective, Director Mace. I just finished my meeting with Ambassador Mathis, and wanted to check in on the investigation. She was not aware of any program called PAD that Mr. Jones would have been involved in. However, she did mention that a former associate of his is here on Oed. I’m hoping you’ve had better luck in your investigation so far.=^=
