One of the things that Sharah and Ano had put together was a series of clinics that didn’t require people to go to the ER. They covered everything from minor complaints to routine physicals. The clinics near the refugee intake covered a lot more, and did a lot of triage. Everyone rotated through these clinics. Civilian and Star Fleet medical staff alike. Sharah didn’t ask for volunteers - it was required. Their job was to help the population of Oed V and support the infrastructure. Sacred Heart couldn’t handle the medical needs of the colony on just the civilian staff.

Today Sharah was working one of the clinics on the outer edges of the colony. A lot of people didn’t want to talk about how they got sick or injured or give personal information. It made keeping records difficult, but Sharah would rather them get help than force the issue. She was there working with Jal’na that day. The formidable Lady Duroc (which no one on staff dared to call her to her face while working) was working with people teaching them some basic exercises they could do alone because they may not return.
