Séan entered the clinic, familiar with the layout from his previous visit. The busy environment was a testament to the constant demands on the medical staff, but he was glad that they were available. He approached the front desk and asked for Doctor Fayth.

Counselor Iven

“Of course Lt. Right this way.” The nurse led him back to the main bay and flipped on a biobed so it could start getting his vitals. “Have a seat and I will go get her for you.”

The nurse headed across the bay. He stopped by the short raven haired doctor. She turned to look at Séan and smiled. It was another few minutes before she made her way over. “Hello, Séan. What brings you to see me today?:

Fayth, CMO

Séan smiled at Fayth but then shook his head with a bit of embarrassment. “I promised you that if my leg pain returned that I would return for another checkup. And since it happened in front of Lieutenant Mika, well, I’ve been doubly compelled to come in. No skirting my promises.”

Counselor Iven

Fayth grinned, but her eyes held understanding. “She can be quite fierce when she feels she needs to be.” She pulled the tricorder out of her pocket and flipped it open. “Tell me about what you were doing and then describe the pain for me.”

Fayth, SFCMO

“Well I was on the way back to my quarters from dinner when my thigh just lit up on fire and I could barely handle the weight on it. Almost tripped and fell to the ground but luckily my good leg held and my balance was decent.” Séan described as he tried to keep his hands from rubbing at his thigh habitually.

Counselor Iven

“So nothing out of the ordinary? You didn’t hit it on anything earlier?” Fayth ran the tricorder probe over the leg looking for any of the obvious signs of damage and strain. “What did you do to combat the pain and weakness?”
