It had been a slow and steady exchange of messages as Eela had gotten her family settled into their apartment downstairs and then took the time she needed to steady herself before tonight.

A hair stylist and makeup artist had left a short while ago and she was still in her robe, though her stylist had secured the dria. She had a few minutes before she needed to get into her gown and Caridee was going to come up to help. Last she heard there was a cranky baby they were dealing with and she was really hoping this evening would be enjoyable for her daughter and son-in-law.

She found herself pacing and laughed aloud. Moving to her bedroom, she sent another message to Karilan: Call me? I’m apparently nervous about tonight and waiting for Caridee to come up to help me with my gown isn’t helping. I’m pacing. Please distract me.

It was less than a minute when the comms chirped =/\= Nervous? You? Whatever for? =/\= the face in the screen said with a grin. =/\= Is it because of the dashing Mr. Jones, perhaps? Or is it that if you screw this up you will forever be known as ‘that’ politician?” Karilan said with a laugh.
