Sharah stepped off the turbolift and headed down the hall to sickbay. She stepped in and looked around. There was work to be done. People were curious, bored, trying to keep busy, thinking of those back on Oed or elsewhere. She got everyone’s attention.

“We received a distress call from a Federation Science council runabout. Our best guess so far is that they crash landed on a moon. It won’t support life. If their life support or hull is breached we could be looking at oxygen deprivation. They have a crew of four.” She read off the manifest McBride had given her.

Dr. Sian Kaob- Lead Scientist (Geologist) and Project Coordinator [Human/Napean]
Archibald (Archie) Keenan- Pilot [Human]
T’Laren- Biologist and Medic [Vulcan]
Temmick Roul- Engineer and Physicist [Cardassian]

“Let’s start synthesizing blood and plasma. Cmdr Korczak?” She looked around for the nondescript man, “The distress call indicated that Archibald Keenan has suffered head trauma of some sort. You are our only neurologist on board. I would like you to see to him. Lt Mika. I am sure they will need your and Cmdr Korczak’s care, but in the mean time I would like you to head up the receiving team in the transporter room. Lt Asimina will be going g down with the away team to assess and triage.”

The request for the medical files came back and all but one were complete:

Dr. Sian Kaob- Lead Scientist (Geologist) and Project Coordinator [Human/Napean]:
-68
-Ankaran flue twice (age 16 and 45)
-gave birth to 2 healthy children (age 28 and 35)

Archibald (Archie) Keenan- Pilot [Human]:
-32 years old
-several broken bones and one moderate concussion since he was a teenager acquired from playing various sports

T’Laren- Biologist and Medic [Vulcan]:
-97 years old
-no serious injuries or ailments
-family history of Tuvan Syndrome

Temmick Roul- Engineer and Physicist [Cardassian]:
-Roul’s file was only from the time he started working from with the joint science team four years ago and so far it was clean. There was a note that previous records were not available due to bureaucratic issues, but that he claimed to have had no health issues when he joined.

Fayth came out of the office after receiving the files. “Alright, we’ve gotten their medical records from the science counsel. Let’s make sure we have enough blood and plasma on hand. Synthesize what we don’t have. Make sure the surgical suites are prepped. Let’s prep for the worst and hope they only have some bumps and bruises.” Then Fayth went over to Temple to make sure they had basic medications ready to go and plenty of each of first line treatments.
