He held up a finger. “Actually, I have that for you. But it’s a civilian research ship, so no medical records so far. That doesn’t mean we can’t get them, but it might not be before we reach them.” He grabbed a PADD and transferred the information over before sliding the device to her.

On it were four names:

Dr. Sian Kaob- Lead Scientist (Geologist) and Project Coordinator [Human/Napean]
Archibald (Archie) Keenan- Pilot [Human]
T’Laren- Biologist and Medic [Vulcan]
Temmick Roul- Engineer and Physicist [Cardassian]

Captain McBride, Starfleet CO

Sharah scanned the manifest, “We may have to replicate blood and plasma. This is a Federation Science Council vessel? I should be able to request their basic medical files through the science council. You said 10 hours? That should be time to get them back, with a priority medical request. I’ll use one of the auxiliary stations to set up a direct link with them.”

Fayth, CMO

McBride gave a nod. “It’s worth a try. Anything else I can do for you, Doctor?” he asked, more out of courtesy than anything. She had things to do and they had discussed the issue that brought her up to the bridge. He was content to let things unfold as they would.

“No, Sir.” Sharah answered immediately. She didn’t want to take up any more of his time, and she needed to try and get those medical records. They could, of course, proceed without them, but they would help. “Thank you for your time, Cpt.”

Fayth, CMO

“Anytime, Doctor, and I mean that.” His smile matched his emotions. He was glad to have been of help and also glad she felt she could talk to him. That mattered as they figured out a way forward as a crew. Was he concerned about the request made of her? Absolutely and though he wanted to know who made it, he also wanted his crew to be able to work things out themselves where they could. He gave a nod to dismiss her.

All in all, this shakedown was doing exactly what he expected it would.
