Tabris found himself outside the office of the Lieutenant Governor of OED V. He had already met the crew of the USS Centurion and settled into his role as Chief Engineer there; now it was time for colonial Operations as he looked forward to getting acquainted with the local officials and further integrating himself into the community.

As Tabris stood there, he took a moment to appreciate his surroundings. OED V was a vibrant and diverse place, teeming with life and potential. He thought about his family back at their residence on the planet and how fortunate they were to be part of such a thriving environment. He adjusted his glasses and smoothed out his uniform, feeling at ease in the laid-back atmosphere. He knew that building relationships with local officials like the Lieutenant Governor would be crucial for his success and the well-being of his crew and family.

The Lieutenant Governor’s office took up the whole second-to-top floor of the Government Tower, with the Governor taking the top floor. Exiting from the lift was a open space with windows looking over the colony and a few comfortable chairs. To the left was a small hallway with rooms in that direction, while to the right was a large reception area with an arced desk where a young Napean woman with vibrant purple hair was standing, reading a PaDD. Beyond her to the right of the desk was a short hallway with another office to the right. At the end of the hallway was a set of double doors in a pale wood tone.

The empathic assistant and receptionist looked up and smiled at Asam. “Good day, how I can help you?” she said lightly with an easy smile.

Tabris took in the impressive view of the colony from the windows as he entered the Lieutenant Governor’s office, noting the tasteful layout and comfortable atmosphere. He approached the reception area, where the young Napean woman stood, her attention focused on a PaDD.

As she looked up and greeted him with a warm smile, Tabris returned the gesture, his green eyes conveying a sense of friendliness. “Good day,” he replied. “I’m Tabris Asam, the new Chief Engineer for the USS Centurion and Operations Officer for the colony. I have an appointment with the Lieutenant Governor. I’m here to introduce myself and discuss how we can work together for the betterment of OED V.”
