As the Governor and Lieutenat Governor sat back in the slider on their way to the Oed V Museum, Kenzo looked at her and said “Now, then… what offer were you referring to?”

Even just the physical distance from her place reduced the tension in her and Eela adopted a casual posture as she sat there with him. “So, that ritual I told you about last week, the one where a Haliian is reconnected with their deepest self?” That night with the sushi. While it would actually be really poignant to do so at my place and thus maybe make that space less contentious, the patio is all stone. The ritual requires grounding to the living world around you and we do that by laying on grass or moss, something growing. Alive. Your garden makes the most sense and is private and secure,” Eela said, her hazel eyes taking him in.
