The Plaza Exchange Market was the center of the ‘non-standard’ trade economy on Oed V. The market itself was a giant square, Two full blocks long on each side, with a large open air bazaar in the middle of the buildings. The buildings, over the unknown duration of the PE’s tenure in the city, had grown and fused together into one giant eight story structure of brick, stone, and metal. On the outside were few windows, and the ones that were there were heavily tinted. On the inside, the bazaar was overlooked by dozens and dozens of business of every kind: from food to fusion generators… jewelry to jasmine plants… whiskey to weapons… anything an individual could want (legal and otherwise) could be found at the Plaza Exchange.

For a price.

The Breen sat in the far back corner of the small Cardassian-ran tea shop on the third floor of the bustling and chaotic market and watched as a small Bajoran woman slid a vial of reddish goo to a Vulcan under the table where they sat having a wholly unrelated conversation. [O] She made the pass. Target has acquired package [O] they said inside their helmet’s comms.

Vonn, CIA

The first response was a brief exhalation of air carried by laughter. Eryn fully believed that if you didn’t enjoy what they did then the reality and stress and demands of the job would eat you alive. Oh sure she would much rather be just an artist, but someone had to do it, and she and Vonn were good. [O] They are a real piece of work. I’ll be glad to have them removed.[O] From the ground at a stall opposite the tea shop, the white blonde, elusive artist bargained for the Polimak jewels she wanted.

She had a clear view of the Bajoran and Vulcan. She waited for them to get up and leave the table. The Bajoran first. She wasn’ttheir target and was easy to find. Eryn let her go. The Vulcan took her time, finishing her tea before she got up and left. [O] Extraction from west alley in 3.[O] The Vulcan moved down the stairs and stepping g into the actual square found the crowds clogged and sluggish. She was bumped and jostled by the crowd, and her way out through the mercantile shop she had chosen was soon no longer direct. Eryn slipped the hypo back into her inside coat pocket.

The Vulcan took the first exit she found, the west alley, and proceeded unhurried. It wasn’t until the first hint of the shadows being chased by the sun at the end of the tall buildings the Vulcan realized, with horror, that something was wrong.

Eryn was slight, but a lot stronger than she looked. Her arm slipped around the woman, for all the world like they had been lovers for years and they slipped into the waiting car together. In the car Eryn pushed the now groggy and disoriented woman over. She secured her hands with thumb cuffs and hit the dividing screen twice and the car began to move. [O] Target contained.[O]

[O] En route to cover point. Hand off to transport team in two minutes. [O] Vonn said and stood up, walking out of the shop and down the walkway towards a disused flight of stairs. Once out of view of onlookers, the massive armored Breen took off and was on the roof in less than ten seconds. They moved across the roof and easily jumped the ten foot gap between the Plaza and the adjacent building, continuing at a sprint for another twenty seconds before arriving at a corner where sat a long black case hidden in the shadows below the parapet running around the building’s flat roof. They flipped it open and pulled out the long rifle and set it on the flat top of the small wall and connected the helmet to it’s scope. [O] Extraction area clear. Proceed with transfer. [O] The target was not important, but the vial most certainly was. But the target had information that the CIA wanted, and no one was going to take chances that the target’s employer wasn’t going to notice they were no longer active, as the car they were in was shielded against tracking. Thus, Kodek Vonn- former bounty hunter and Star Fleet Intelligence asset- knelt with a massive rifle to cover the transfer from three blocks away… just in case.

In the car Eryn searched the woman. The vial was cleverly hidden in a strategic pocked of the woman’s brazier. Foolish though because if the vial broke the woman wouldn’t have last long enough to warn anyone. It wasn’t exactly a safe location for it. Eryn slipped the vial into an armored and padded pocket and closed it. Then she proceeded to strip the woman of shoes, jacket, belt, jewelry and stopped. [O]We got a problem[O] Eryn flipped open one of the seat compartments and pulled out a medical kit. She jammed a hypo vial into a hypo and then injected the telepathic inhibitor. [O] The necklace she’s wearing is a small grade explosive, tied into the clasp. I can’t remove it without setting it off. Transfer team needs to call in Timivick.[O] Grabbing a tricorder she scanned the necklace [O]And it’s tied to her heart rate[O] The car slowed and Eryn opened the trunk access and shoved the various paraphanalia into a protected box. The car came to a stop and the driver got out and opened the trunk, talking to the woman who approached to collect the delivery. Eryn slipped out of the car, pulling the woman with her. The two women, hanging all over the man who came to meet them, entered the building. Her car left. The transfer team took the drugged Vulcan and loaded her into another vehicle, which left out of an underground entrance a block away. [O]Transfer team in possession of Target Arrival to warehouse 15 minutes.[O]

Eryn exited 5 minutes later two blocks down. Or a wild pink haired woman with purple eyes, tall riding boots, and a cargo jacket did anyway. She carried a instrument case on her back and headed for the artists’ square a few streets over to try her luck with a street performance that afternoon.

Alston had been waiting with the transfer team, watching the two operate via a secure feed. He begrudgingly admitted that they were good, but it was still up in the air on if they would live up to the hype Reilly gave them. Checking his watch, he nodded to himself. They were right on schedule.

As Romanov entered, Alston climbed into the passenger seat of the transfer teams vehicle. The transfer team still wasn’t sure what to make of him. He had shown up as they had been getting ready to head out for the transfer point, and probably would of shot him if Director Reilly hadn’t called ahead. They still didn’t know much about him, besides that he was connected, and had full access to the current operation. He was sure that the rumors would spread soon enough, but he could have a bit of fun in the mean time.

As the transfer vehicle started moving, he picked up the comm that the team had loaned up.

[O] Transfer team is away. Good work agents. Drinks are on me tonight, your choice of venue. Meet you at 2100 hours. [O]

As the vehicle drove off Alston just smiled to himself. He had to admit, he was having fun again.

Alston Mace - Contractor

Over the comm came the moderately accented, Russian tones of the very unpredictable and sassy agent, [O]Oh drinks on him. That’s like a gold star in grade school. Aren’t we excited?[C] full of heavy sarcasm. The other agents were never sure when to laugh or not, but the ones that worked with her regularly cracked amused grins.

Vonn paused. They had seen the unknown figure in the transfer team van, and they that they were the speaker. Vonn also knew that this was an unusual means of introducing another agent, but at least Reilly had the good sense to tell them and Romanov he was coming. Vonn waited a moment and then said [O] Russian Tea Room. Ask for Kasmir Gran. Overwatch concluded. Extracting from operational grid now. [C] Vonn slid down and broke down the massive rifle in seconds, stored it in the bag that now resembled a large backpack, and moved off the roof. As he did, he commed Eryn. [O] Rendezvous four. [C] was all they said as the made their way to meet their partner.

[O] In 3.[C] Eryn, or Zanya in this get up, traversed the street and finding artist’s square mostly empty of passersby but full of musicians, sighed. She would try her luck elsewhere. She excited the square into a lightly wooded park and came out along a sidewalk, crossed the street and made her way along the end of a fenced community and turned into a small square that had fresh meat for sale.
