The Plaza Exchange Market was the center of the ‘non-standard’ trade economy on Oed V. The market itself was a giant square, Two full blocks long on each side, with a large open air bazaar in the middle of the buildings. The buildings, over the unknown duration of the PE’s tenure in the city, had grown and fused together into one giant eight story structure of brick, stone, and metal. On the outside were few windows, and the ones that were there were heavily tinted. On the inside, the bazaar was overlooked by dozens and dozens of business of every kind: from food to fusion generators… jewelry to jasmine plants… whiskey to weapons… anything an individual could want (legal and otherwise) could be found at the Plaza Exchange. For a price.
The Breen sat in the far back corner of the small Cardassian-ran tea shop on the third floor of the bustling and chaotic market and watched as a small Bajoran woman slid a vial of reddish goo to a Vulcan under the table where they sat having a wholly unrelated conversation. [O] She made the pass. Target has acquired package [O] they said inside their helmet’s comms.

The first response was a brief exhalation of air carried by laughter. Eryn fully believed that if you didn’t enjoy what they did then the reality and stress and demands of the job would eat you alive. Oh sure she would much rather be just an artist, but someone had to do it, and she and Vonn were good. [O] They are a real piece of work. I’ll be glad to have them removed.[O] From the ground at a stall opposite the tea shop, the white blonde, elusive artist bargained for the Polimak jewels she wanted.
She had a clear view of the Bajoran and Vulcan. She waited for them to get up and leave the table. The Bajoran first. She wasn’ttheir target and was easy to find. Eryn let her go. The Vulcan took her time, finishing her tea before she got up and left. [O] Extraction from west alley in 3.[O] The Vulcan moved down the stairs and stepping g into the actual square found the crowds clogged and sluggish. She was bumped and jostled by the crowd, and her way out through the mercantile shop she had chosen was soon no longer direct. Eryn slipped the hypo back into her inside coat pocket.
The Vulcan took the first exit she found, the west alley, and proceeded unhurried. It wasn’t until the first hint of the shadows being chased by the sun at the end of the tall buildings the Vulcan realized, with horror, that something was wrong.
Eryn was slight, but a lot stronger than she looked. Her arm slipped around the woman, for all the world like they had been lovers for years and they slipped into the waiting car together. In the car Eryn pushed the now groggy and disoriented woman over. She secured her hands with thumb cuffs and hit the dividing screen twice and the car began to move. [O] Target contained.[O]

[O] En route to cover point. Hand off to transport team in two minutes. [O] Vonn said and stood up, walking out of the shop and down the walkway towards a disused flight of stairs. Once out of view of onlookers, the massive armored Breen took off and was on the roof in less than ten seconds. They moved across the roof and easily jumped the ten foot gap between the Plaza and the adjacent building, continuing at a sprint for another twenty seconds before arriving at a corner where sat a long black case hidden in the shadows below the parapet running around the building’s flat roof. They flipped it open and pulled out the long rifle and set it on the flat top of the small wall and connected the helmet to it’s scope. [O] Extraction area clear. Proceed with transfer. [O] The target was not important, but the vial most certainly was. But the target had information that the CIA wanted, and no one was going to take chances that the target’s employer wasn’t going to notice they were no longer active, as the car they were in was shielded against tracking. Thus, Kodek Vonn- former bounty hunter and Star Fleet Intelligence asset- knelt with a massive rifle to cover the transfer from three blocks away… just in case.
