Hyrushi sat in his home office and tapped the comms. He didn’t know what time it was where the Ogawa was, but he hoped the call wouldn’t be too inconvenient.

Kane blinked a few times to fully awaken himself. =/\= Right. Yeah, its fine. I actually already sent you your prototype. Like the one I made, but on steroids. Hyrushi had been threatened by the best of them: Cardassians, Federation, FedSec, Obsidian Order, Star Fleet Intel. Kane’s threat was less robust than the others… but it carried weight. He truly meant what he said… and Kenzo smiled internally. That was an attitude he could respect. =/\= I assure you that I intend to give it to someone who can really use it, Doctor Kane. And I harbor no illusions as to the ramifications of utilizing your invention for nefarious purposes. Do you know when the device will arrive? I want to make sure I am able to get it before the screening process flags it. =/\=

Kane nodded. =/\= As long as we are clear on that. Should be there in the next couple of days. I shielded the housing from scanners. If the patient has any questions or needs any help, tell them to reach out to me directly.
