A day after Dasca responded to the vid of her ex-husband, Mika received a call in her office from the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, but it was flagged as being her Executive Assistant, Cort Belanger, rather than Captain Dasca’s Aide-de-camp Lt. Watts who usually dealt with most things Starfleet related.

After seeing the response, Mika was not surprised to receive a call from the Lieutenant Governor. The fact that assistant of hers was calling told her the call was probably not Fleet business. She picked up the call and spoke with a friendly tone, “Mika. What can I help you with?”

The face of a bearded Human man appeared on the screen and gave her small smile. “Good day, Lieutenant. I’m Cort Belanger, Captain Dasca’s Executive Assistant. She’s asked me to book an appointment with you on her behalf. I’m not sure how in the loop you are, but Eela wanted me to see if you would be comfortable holding the appointment at her apartment. She thinks it will be easier but said she would go to the Complex if necessary, of course.”
