“Consider those feeling reciprocated with the most sincerity.” Kenzo said. “Go and take care of what you need to, and then take care of you. The rest of us will be fine. And when you are ready to discuss what happened more fully, well… my patio is open.”

Kenzo

She smiled more widely. “You might want to hide the evil green bottle. If I survive the blood wine tomorrow night I might not be indulging in alcohol for awhile,” she said with a chuckle. “Alright, I’m sure we’ll touch base tomorrow, but in any case I’ll be in the next day whether others are or not. Have a good evening, Kenzo.”

Ending the call, Eela sat on the bed for a moment and closed her eyes, breathing deeply. It felt like she could more now, breathe that is. He had that effect on her- a gentle easing that allowed her space to do what she needed.

Picking up the PaDD, she didn’t go over the response any further and added it to the comments, letting it stand strongly amongst the others. It was far longer than anything there already so it would be undoubtedly noticed.

Drawing in another breath, Eela moved out of the bedroom and up the stairs and back towards the kitchen, feeling lighter than before. But the response was on her mind and all she knew is that it was the best one she could give. It would have to be enough. And if it wasn’t? Oh well.

Yavia was curled up on one of the couches in the living area across from the kitchen. She was facing the large floor to ceiling windows and the fading light. The weather had turned cool and she had the fire place going. She was reading on a PaDD.

Yavia

Eela moved over to one of the other couches, giving Yavia her space, and settled into the side, leaning back with a pillow behind her back. “Anything else I can help with for dinner?” she asked quietly, not wanting to disturb the Deltan too much.

Yavia looked up, “No. I’ll toss it in the oven once everyone gets back. I don’t want it to get cold. Do you want something until then? The rolls are ready.” Yavia unfolded herself from the couch and walked over to the bonsai tree. She slipped her PaDD between the base and the branches and took several pictures until she had a 360 view of the underside of rhe branches. Yavia returned to her seat. “Is there anything you want or need? You’re welcome to whatever we have.”

Yavia

Eela chuckled. “Time travel? I’d like to rewind about thirty-six hours and leave his sorry ass down in the lobby, but even as I say that time travel is such a headache. I managed to get through my entire Starfleet career with nary a chroniton and I think I shouldn’t start now,” she said with a small grin.

“But a roll sounds great. I’m a sucker for fresh bread,” she said, pushing herself up and meandering to the kitchen. “What are you reading?” Eela asked.
