“I will set up a meeting for you to meet the Lt Gov.” Sharah was interested to see what Hannah thought of her from a medical stand point and professionally. “And once you are settled we will meet with your Colonial counterparts. There are a lot of moving parts to the Healthcare here. But since we will be going out soon, I would like you to start with sickbay on the Centurion. Spend a week, get a feel for the facility and then we’ll rotate.”

He nodded his approval. It was a good plan. “Any questions you ahve for me specifically? As I’ve been saying a lot lately, if I don’t know the answer I usually can find someone who does.”

Captain McBride, Starflet CO

Hannah grinned, “Not yet. Cmdr Fayth has already said we will be touring and meeting people which will answer most of my questions I am sure. I guess the inky ine right now is can I get started?” Hannah carried an genuine enthusiasm and excitement for her work and was eager to begin.

Asimina, AMO

Jonathan returned the grin. “Absolutely, go get stuck in. We can meet again next week before or after the senior staff meeting if you like. By then you should have a better sense of what’s going on. But I’ll warn you… a lot can happen in a week.”

Captain McBride, Starflet CO

“I look forward to it.” Hannah stood, “Thank you Cpt. Cmdr. Fayth I will see you tomorrow morning.” According to the schedule she had been given anyway. Asimina left and headed for the infirmary for that check in.

After she left, Fayth looked at McBride. “I am cautiously happy.”

Jonathan nodded. “Half the battle with personnel on Oed is having people who want to be here. I think she’ll fit in quite nicely. And here’s hoping to fixes some of the strains on your department. Having an excellent second in very useful.” He eyed his desk and the obvious piles of work. “I look forward to knowing what that is like myself,” he said with a lopsided grin.
