The CCDA agents arrived at the front entry of the very nice Seven Palms Hotel and Spa in a convoy of three armored sliders with lights flashing. From the center vehicle, a tall Cardassian in CCDA tactical gear stepped out and ‘helped’ a lone Halian male. Two other agents exited and flanked him. The Cardassian said “We go to your room, no detours. You pack. We go to the port. You leave. You don’t come back. If you come back to Oed… sir… know that you will be arrested and charged with violating immigration policies. Now go.” The scene drew many onlookers and more than a few vid captures were taken. The agents walked him in, directly to the lifts, and took him straight up to his room on the twenty-secind floor. When they arrived at his door, the Galiano opened it and walked in, followed by the Cardassian.Cory had wisely said heeded the warning and said nothing, just nodded his understand. He kept his eyes down, lost in his thoughts. He really hadn’t meant for anything to go the way they had. He never meant to hurt her. He just wanted her to stop and listen.
Only to find that they were not the first to arrive.
A heavily armored Breen sat in a chair facing the door. The Cardassian looked and then smiled slightly. “Know what? I think this is well in hand. I’m going to just leave you all to it.” He looked at the Breen and inclined his head. The helmet remained completely still as the CCDA backed out of the room and the door slid closed.
Cory Fletcher watched as the agents left him alone and he found it hard to breathe. Having lived in San Francisco when the Breen attacked, they weren’t exactly going to induce warm fuzzies, but the sight of one now was terrifying.
A synthetic and wholly emotionless voice issued forth from the helmet. “Sit.” it said, and a single finger rose and pointed at the bed.

Cory moved warily to the bed, his hands reaching down first as he lowered himself into a sitting position. Somehow he figured now was also not the time to talk.

“My name-” the Breen began, “… is not important. Know that I am a dedicated servant of this colony… it’s people… and, at times, a useful tool for those who wish to see the colony succeed. Do you understand the meaning behind these words?”
