Fayth smiled, “Oh I do see it, Captain, and it might have been my ideas, my perspective, but everyone put in the work. Things wouldn’t have changed without them.” Sharah knew that as surely as she knew how to set a broken bone. She was lucky with the people she was working with.

“Naturally,” Eela said. “And those that are contributing to the wonderful work and progress will also be recognized. Don’t worry, we won’t forget about them,” she added with an easy smile.”

“And uh, that’s all this meeting was about, so we won’t keep you unless there’s anything you want to bring up while you’re here. I just figured you’d prefer a private promotion rather than something public.”

Sharah gave her a grateful smile for her understanding. “Thank you, that means a great deal.” She ran through everything waiting on her desk. “Actually since I am here, the ambulance shuttles for the hospital could use a solid eng team to look over them. They are quite old.”

“That ones definitely mine,” McBride said. “I’ll make sure they end up on the priority list, but it might not happen until at least next week. We have some work we’re doing on the Centurion and of course the expansion of the new Infirmary here at the Complex. But I promise it’ll be high priority after.” Jonathan knew to be careful about making promises, especially when it came to deadlines, but with this one he felt a fair degree of confidence.

Captain McBride, Starfleet CO

Fayth grinned, “No rush. It needs to be done, but they aren’t falling apart. I would just rather be proactive than they malfunction in an emeegency.” It wasn’t exactly a Star Fleet responsibility anyway.

Knowing that they were at least done the thing that required the meeting room, Eela moved towards the door, even walking a few steps backwards in what was clearly a good day with her back. “I’ve got other meetings about the colony, shall I walk with you out?” she asked Fayth.

Sharah nodded, like she was suddenly falling into gear. “Yes, of course.” She gave her ‘good days’ to McBride and followed Dasca out. “You are doing veey well today. I’m glad.”
