Sharah was not comfortable with the charity auction. She also wasn’t sure, with her dual position if she should do it. Yavia thought it was a great idea, and would be a lot of fun. She also thought, though she didn’t say out right, that it would be good for Sharah’s mental health. She supposed she could ask McBride, but that made her stomach knot up. It just felt weird going to talk to McBride about being in a Bachelorette auction.

Ah! Eela. She would talk to Eela. She sent her a message asking if they could talk and where.

As it happened Dasca was out of the office between meetings. She sent a simple message in reply:
||Having a bite to eat at The Golden Raven. Come join me.|

The Golden Raven was a small pub-style place that did a nice little lunch and was quieter this time of day than it was at night. Eela had gravitated towards it as it reminded her of a place in San Francisco that she had frequented as a cadet and then again later out of nostalgia. She was digging into a mushroom pot-pie while she skimmed messages on a padd.

Sharah changed into regular clothes before leaving the hospital for lunch. She was proud of her service but she also understood that it didn’t need to be flaunted in certain places. She had never been to The Golden Raven and was unsure of the atmosphere.

She appeared shortly later and scanned the room, spotting and recognizing Eela’s presence Sharah made her way over. “Hello Eela. How are you today?”
