The frontier colony of Oed Vis set to get a unique and talented Oral and Maxillofacial Dentist, as well as General Family Dentist. This reporter got the opportunity to speak with Doctor Kisalera, a female Ferengi; yes, dear readers I said Female Ferengi, as to why she studied on Earth and what made her decide to open practice on Oed V. Even with the reforms made by the Grand Nagus Zek and those that continue under Grand Nagus Rom, Doctor Kisalera was disowned by her father and family. She did however find a sponsor for her dreams of becoming a Oral and Maxillofacial Dentist, and General Family Dentist. That sponsor is none other than the infamous DaiMon Nandi. That is correct, my friends, the infamous DaiMon Nandi, I confirmed this through several sources. As to why the notorious DaiMon would sponsor Doctor Kisalera, I could not pry that out of the good doctor, nor could my sources provide any clues. The DaiMon Nandi paid for all of Doctor Kisalera’s education and expenses. Doctor Kisalera attended the University of Pennsylvania and then completed her Residency at the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill. After she graduated and did her residency, she was invited by the United Federation of Planets Bureau of Colonization requested she open a practice on Oed V. She states that the Bureau of Colonization has informed Medical Director, Doctor Aiofemi T. Oshiro that she would be coming; but Doctor Kisalera states she has yet to hear from the Medical Director. I asked her the obvious question when it comes to a Ferengi, where did she see the profit in being a Oral and Maxillofacial Dentist, and General Family Dentist on a colony world with a limited population. She laughed and said she was going to be one of the only individual beings to provide such services to the general population and therefore it would prove to be a lucrative venture for her. Overall, my impression of Doctor Kisalera was one of confidence with the typical Ferengi greed mixed in. I am sure she will make an excellent Oral and Maxillofacial Dentist, as well as General Family Dentist on Oed V. My main concern is what DaiMon Nandi will be getting out of the relationship with Doctor Kisalera and her medical practice.
