Molly hadn’t been the one to set up the meeting. In fact, Dominique Bruner, the company’s Chief Operations Officer had been the one that had originally requested it and who had been scheduled to attend it. More than anything it was a formality, and one that Bruner had considered Molly shouldn’t worry about with everything else going on.

Yet, with both Calvin and Lucas awake and stable, Molly had personally changed the arrangement. A change in scenery would do her good, and going back to a more active part of her job would take her mind off of the many worries and concerns still running through it.

Still, she hadn’t dared going back home, preferring instead to ask the Mannings if they had a spare room she could use. A request to which the couple promptly acquiesced, scolding her for even asking.

The shower had felt like heaven, only topped by the fact that when she returned to the bedroom she was greeted by a plate of freshly baked scones that had been left on the coffee table. Molly smiled softly. Amelia surely knew how to treat her guests.

Replicating a fresh set of clothes, Holloway took a moment to enjoy a scone and review her notes before leaving back to the center of town.

Molly Holloway was a striking figure. She was easily recognizable on the street by her bright red hair tightly held up in a ballerina bun and the long coat that she seemed to almost always wear these days. After the protests, it was even easier for the people of OED to identify her as she walked by, and for glances to be aimed and fingers to be pointed in her direction. She hated every moment of it, even though in her stoic facade she seemed not to care. Still, she refused to be driven around in a company car, insisting on traveling by her own means, whether that meant using the public system or walking.

Which was why, at exactly 11:25am, the CEO of Holloway Heavy Industries was walking up the front steps of the Government Building, headed to the front desk.

“Good morning.” Molly said with a smile to the front desk employee on duty. “My name is Molly Holloway and I have a meeting with Governor Hyrushi at 11h30.” Even though she had met the man in charge of OED before, she was by far not as familiar with him as her uncle was, with Lucas being the one participating on the meetings most of the time. “Do you mind telling me how to get to his office?”
