Tiberius stood up and was curious about what McBride wanted to meet about. He was unsure of what is going on but he did need to check in since arriving at the colony which he had not had a chance to do since he was initially called into the Staff Meeting. He knew it could not be detrimental due to the fact he just arrived to the ship and had not had time to break anything. He laughed to himself when thinking about that. He stopped once he stepped out of the door. He touched on the side of the wall and hit the needed buttons to bring up the map of the colony. He thought he knew where he was going but Tiberius always liked to double check before making the incorrect decision. After confirmation the location of the office for McBride, he turned off the monitor and proceeded to the Captain’s office. He was ready to get started with everything related to Starfleet security and needed to make some adjustments based on what was discussed during the staff meeting. After a few minutes, Tiberius arrived at the office for the Captain. He did not want to invite himself in so he hit the wall to ring the bell in order to get the attention of the Captain. He wanted for the doors to open in order to enter.

“Come on in,” McBride said through the comm panel.

Tiberius walked in when McBride responded through the comm channel. He looked around to see what sort of things the Captain had.

Inside the modest office, it was clear that McBride was also very new and he was currently trying to unpack a few crates. He looked up and flashed Cattaneo a grin. “Commander, welcome. Grab a seat, won’t you? And don’t mind me, I’ve been here less time than even you have. I’m still just trying to get my bearings,” he said as shifted the crate on his desk to the floors and gave the bare surface a swipe with his hand.

Sitting down, McBride leaned back, swivelled so he was facing the COS on an angle and crossed his legs. “So, fill me in. I’ve read people’s records, but I like to hear it from themselves. Who are you and why do you think you’re here?”

Tiberius responded after the question, “I am Lt Cmdr Cattaneo. My previous post was the USS Titan as the COS. I rather enjoyed that post but then was requested by Starfleet command to come to Oed V. I am guessing I am here to assist with the different types of security required for the colony over a ship or a station. Having a background and interest in ground combat and ground battle strategy, I am assuming that might be part of that as my previous XO and CO always asked about that when I was onboard the Titan. I look forward to working with you both on the colony and onboard the USS Centurion” He waited for a second and then finished, “Are you aware of anything specifically on why I was selected for this position?” He assumed that McBride knew since he was the ranking Starfleet officer on Oed V and the captain of the Starfleet vessel assigned to Oed V. He then waited for the Captain to respond.
